Had a new home built 2 years ago and the builder used Cabinets by Lawrence Construction. One year warranty is over so I didnt know how I was going to be treated. Had a few minor issues with some hinges due to normal wear and tear recently. The owner personally delivered them to me. No charge. I also worked with the shop/service manager named Tim. He had some hinges delivered to me as well. With out a doubt some of the best customer service I have experienced. I have dealt with alot of the subs who worked on this home but Cabinets By Lawrence far exceeded my expectations on how I was treated. Excellent customer service. They did not have to do what they did for me and they went well above and beyond. I would highly recommend them for any cabinet job, big or small. We used James Lawrence Custom Cabinets in our new build. James was extremely responsive throughout the process. There was an issue with one of the design elements in our bathroom. A quick phone call to James and the issue was resolved. The customers’ happiness comes first at James Lawrence Custom Cabinets. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing cabinets. We had custom cabinets designed and built for our new house. I had some pictures and James used those pictures to design the cabinets I wanted. We had Lawrence Custom Cabinets design and make our cabinets for our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry/mudroom . Kim Cummings was amazing. So helpful and she used her years of experience to mention details we hadn't even considered. She was so patient and even found matching hardware in the style and finish we wanted to match in different sizes. I agree with all of the 1 star postings. I was referred to this company by our builder in which they installed the original cabinets. I called and did not receive any call back for over 2 months. I understand that we are going through a pandemic, but it is only standard to give a courtesy call back. When the guy that was doing the estimating came out, ( James ), he said that they were 4 weeks out but would get us a quote the following day. After nearly 2 weeks, and leaving numerous messages, I was able to get ahold of James once again. He said that he hadn't had time and that other projects were pushed ahead of ours. All that we asked for was a call back. Then we were basically told to go elsewhere because they didn't have time for us. I did receive a call back from Lawrence the owner, and he reiterated the fact that they had other "Contractor's Projects" that came 1st. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The cabinet aspect of our basement finish has been completed. Lawrence played a large role in how well it went. Met with their in-house Sales Team a few times, as they suggested some "shifts" after reviewing our rough draft. Really glad that they suggested the changes. The flow is really good.The delivery was on time and fairly seemless. They even put down some floor covering as to not scratch our main level hardwoods. There was one ding in the drywall heading down the stairs. But, had our drywall guy fix it right up, no problem. I was impressed that the delivery guys pointed it out to me.Price was not the cheapest quote we received. But, I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. While we were visiting with James, the salesman, he took us out to their shop where we were able to actually see how the cabinets were to arrive. (Wrapped for protection)He explained a couple of options to us and why they were potentially important to our basement.Install was quick and the two guys (one father and one son) were very knowledgeable and even pointed out a plumbing problem in our bathroom, which was getting a vanity placed in it.Overall, a good experience. would recommend them to folks doing a remodel. I called four shops. Three called back. Two came out within two weeks, with Lawrence being one of them. Did read the reviews here, which after talking to James, i can understand the situation.(though a couple seem to be just misplaced anger or something)I we ever need cabinets again, we will call them.

Our company switched to Custom Cabinetry by Lawrence Construction a few years ago and we have done well over 75 jobs with them by now and we have been very impressed! Our salesman, James Robbins, always stays on top of everything and he works great with our customers. Their 3D renderings are fantastic and they really help our customers visualize all of the customized jobs we do. Definitely recommend them.

Quality built cabinets. They take their time to make sure that clients get exactly what they ask for. Professional attitude, but relaxed enough to make you comfortable to talk with them. This really helps in communicating to ensure that every detail of the build is captured, then fully expressed and executed in the creation of the custom cabinets that are delivered. Awesome delivery guys, and installers. Professional, and very courteous. Willing to stop and explain things, or answer any questions you may have. I would recommend these guys to everyone I know, that are in the market for custom cabinets.
