The staff are always super nice and the atmosphere is relaxing but, the prices..... I just can't do. I get it's conveniently down the street, but everything is atleast $10+ more expensive than home depot. If there was more competitive pricing or price match, I would be there more.

I had a tricky situation but the gentleman that works there assisted me with some great alternatives.
It was here that G.E. Waters moved his original store from Manchester, Kansas in 1905. Because of that history, a lot of our company growth has happened in Junction City. Our original building on 8th and Washington moved and expanded to a full-service store (and the only Waters Hardware store to offer a lumberyard!) on 6th Street. However, our real growth has come from the solid relationships we’ve been fortunate enough to build with the Junction City and Fort Riley communities over the last 126 years. Thank you for being the birthplace of Waters Hardware!
