I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.For anyone moving in or out of an apartment, watch out for elevator fees, stair fees, and long-carry fees. My initial estimate was $2,500 (including $75 for the elevator at my apartment and $200 for the stairs at my new apartment); however, by the end of the moving process $1,000 had been added for long-carry and the same stairs.Additionally, my movers lost a shelf and damaged my ottoman. I submitted a claim within the month I moved (September 2021), and they said they had until January 28, 2022 to process the claim.I still hadn't received my check on March 22, 2022 and called Customer Support. They claim was processed on January 30, 2022. Despite my address being correct in the confirmation email, the check was sent to the incorrect address. They promised to send a new check out that week.Two week later I still have not received my check. I called Customer Support again, but this time they hung up on me and disconnected the line.Lesson learned. I'll never use Mid-America Movers again.

I have been trying to recover and agreed upon settlement form Mid America Movers Of a meager $75, with the help of the Better Business Bureau to no avail. I would advise doing business with this company. They are not true to their word. I posted previously when they agreed to settle my claim. They have not, but rather wasted time claiming any inaction was my fault. Always check Better Business Ratings first.

The pick up crew was amazing and very careful with my belongings. It wasn't until after they had my stuff that communication with the people on the phone became rude, strained and hard to get in touch with. I waited a week for my belongings in a hotel. On arrival, items were scratched and damaged and immediately I noticed things missing. Parts of my children's bunk beds, and a large box that the original movers had packed holding special antique heirlooms. It's been two full weeks and sadly we noticed that a box filled with my kids' just received Christmas presents and their wallets with cash is not here either. The company has seemingly blocked my number and is not responding to calls, texts, messages and emails, to send the form for damaged and lost items, or to let me know if they found any of the missing items in the storage space they apparently used. This company does not have their own trucks, they were using Pensky trucks. The people who delivered were not who picked up. I am very upset by this experience. Victor, who gave me the quote, had me convinced I was making the best decision.

9/5/21 Update: to date, this company has yet to return my mom’s money. They keep giving her the runaround and it’s been a month and a half.7/20/21 - There should be an option for no stars!!! Terrible company! Do not trust them. They screwed my mom. She was moving from New Jersey to Tennessee and never showed! They were supposed to arrive on Thursday, then they called and said Friday. They called Friday morning and said their truck broke down and they were waiting for another one. Then all communication stopped. My mom tried calling, texting, emailing and nothing! I was in South Carolina and tried to call them and got Robin. I conferences my mom in and she told my mom they would be there Saturday morning. Well, Saturday morning came and went. Then she said they would be there Saturday night between 8-9. That came and went, they did not show. Robin the. Said it was late and they had a hotel in my moms town and would be there Sunday between 8-9, they did not show. The driver called my mom and told her that Robin had sent them to West Virginia and they did not get done until 2am so there was no way they would have been to her at that time. My mom at this point had to scramble to find another company to move her that day. They are the worst. I would not trust them at all, especially Robin! She is a liar.

I don't even want to give a single star to this company. It is my first time coming across the cheaters in the states like these. We agreed upon moving the items from NJ to TN for ~1700. The update after a month's of us moving to TN is they forced us to pay ~4000 for those items and upon constantly calling give the response, " We'll see when to load the items" As they dont start moving until there are enough items from the region, so basically we have been waiting for our daily essentials for ~1.5 months. I'd like to add that the entire amount of the items won't be that much as they are asking to move it.

Worst moving company ever they tell nothing but lies do not trust them they are super nice and friendly until they get your money then no clear moving delivery and won’t remove your furniture off the truck until you paythis is how you treat Veterans

I can't tell you enough how amazing these guys were. Professional, communicative, and highly motivated to exceed expectations. Diego and Anthony were incredible along with the Sales Manager Byron. They arrived at the house on the day of the move exactly when they said they would and even assisted me in packing the final few stray items and getting them out the door. The Foreman, Ervin, was quite accommodating. They were quite professional; when we arrived at our new home, everything was in its proper place, they cleaned up after themselves, and they made sure there was nothing else we needed before leaving. Overall, it made the transition lot smoother than it could have been. This company comes highly recommended by me to anyone searching for a stress-free moving experience. Thank you so much for everything you did, it was well worth the money!

Need a mover fast and I was recommended Mid America Movers from a friend. What more can I ask for? They were on time and did what they said they would for the price they said they would do it for. These days honorable men are few and far between and as an Army Vet I must say these guys restored my faith in integrity in the American business place. Victor was the consummate professional and gave me a significant military discount. thank you guys!

They know how to make a move go smoothly! The three uniformed men from Mid America Movers came to my place on time and did a great job wrapping, stacking and packing. They did not get the mattresses dirty, they didn't break or lose anything, they took apart the bunk beds and put them together on delivery easily, dismounted a couple TV's and they kept the floors clean too. All was nicely packed and wrapped and delivered to me in perfect condition. I have no complaints except I wish I could afford to tip the guys more moving is hard work ! I appreciate everything you did for our family today.

Come the day of the move, they were at the house exactly when they said they would be, and even helped me get the last few stray items into boxes and out the door. Ervin the Foreman was very accommodating. They were incredibly professional, when we got to the new house everything was accounted for and where it was supposed to be, they cleaned up after themselves and made sure there was nothing else we needed before they left. Altogether made the move much easier than it could have been. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for a stress free moving experience. Well worth the price. thank you so much for all you did!
