Run down gas station, I stopped for diesel on my way to Oklahoma. The #1 pump for diesel was painfully slow. It must have taken at least ten if not fifteen minutes to pump 33 gallons of diesel.
This seems like a small farm town like where I live. I’m not sure how anyone would want to come here with a pump that slow.
Inside the store was run down and grungy. The fence around the store is falling apart and the dump of a house next door gives off meth lab backyard vibes.
I purposely passed the new gas station in town because I usually have a good experience at Casey’s. Wish I would have hung up the pump and went up the road to the Jump Start Travel Center instead.
I spoke with the cashier about the slow pump and she even said “I don’t know man, seems like everything here is broke and it’s not getting any better.” ?

I was kind of burned out on pizza, so I thought I would try the pork tenderloin sandwich and was very disappointed. It had been cooked at too high of a temperature or left in deep fryer for too long of a period of time. It had the texture of cardboard box. The edges of the meat were almost black and very burnt and dried out. On top of this, lettuce was not available for a condiment to the sandwich and very small amount of tomato was added, (approximately the size of a half dollar coin).I will NOT BE ORDERING THIS EVER AGAIN!!!I have been a loyal customer since 2019. I have given this CASEY'S good review on Google Maps in the past to include a picture of the building at night.It seems since the loss of their last manager, the quality of this particular Casey's has went downhill.A shame really- as it was one of my favorite places to get good food fast at a reasonable price ?

I love their donuts, pizza, and their Casey rewards! Also a huge shout out to the best employee at Casey's in Iola... Mary Stokes! Seriously, this lady is a true gem!

This is the first time I've ever gave a one star but the bathroom is dirty and the food is always cold and as a customer I got openly and loudly harassed and insulted by the employees

Ordered 2 pizzas pepperoni and a taco. Walked in 5 min early to pay. When I went to pick it up, a man (visibly upset about his job) stated there were only 2 taco pizzas. After I stated its fine, he was taking thr pizzas out throwing stuff around and shouting while trying to put my order together. 2 other ladies were stunned as I was. Order was wrong and heard alot of noise I didn't expect to hear at a Casey's. Will not be going to that location again.

Waited for about 5 minutes again and no one ever showed so I got annoyed again. This is the 4th time it's happened. Obviously by the look of the store and employees the manager clearly doesn't care. This gas station is dirty and very poorly manager. Tell your employees to wash their hair for God's sake too. Btw I just left after waiting so long.

After standing at the ice machine with it running and only getting a couple pieces out, the worker messing with the bottle drinks told me, "yeah, it's not working and walked off." Ridiculous and a waist of a stop. Went down the road to another location to quench my thirst. Customer service could use some work.

Does pizza better than the other choices of pizza in Iola. It's one of the nicest gas stations here as well. The further you get from Walmart some reason directly translates to how nice the Iola gas stations are, this one's pretty far away so it's pretty clean and doesn't make you feel like you're going to get stabbed for a dollar.
