I've used several different facilities prior to relocating my things to Salt City Storage, I noticed the updates and additions that the new owner has made to the facility and I highly recommend this place. Knowing that it's being properly run now is a good feeling.

When renting I was expecting pests to be some what of an issue. I did not expect to have our entire storage unit to be taken over by mice within 3 weeks, being in the middle of a move and no time or way to go through everything we decided to put out mice poison. It did the trick but everything we owned had mouse poop on it. Even with that it was not the deal breaker for me. It was the inability to communicate with the owner(s). In the first day we tried calling about 50 times as the code we received did not work. When we finally were able to get an answer we found out the number listed on their bill board was also shared with someone else from Wichita, we alerted the owner to this and yet the number remained the same. If you look at their posters/Facebook/website they all list different number and you cannot get through to anyone or receive a call back. Their email is also invalid. I tried to email our termination notice of thirty days and had to leave a message on their website regarding our termination of the lease as per the contract we were required to give 30 days written notice. I left my contact details in the termination letter and asked they email or call when they receive the notice as communication has been absent on their end. I still have not received anything from their end regarding the termination of contract.

We rented a storage unit from them, so today we went to put our stuff in it. We couldn't get in the code wasn't working or the gates wouldn't open, so we called. No answer left a voice mail. We waited nothing. I even called back. Still nothing. All before 4pm. On their web page it said open. But no one has tried to call us back. We drove 30 miles to this place.
