Call and it says open untill 11pm must be in line by 10 pm to get loaded. Here 10 mins befor 10 and your not loading anymore? Why advertise in line by 10 but not honor it. Worst place bunch of lazy sacks

Very easy loading in and out for road salt. One of the owners walked by while I was tarping and asked how the process was which shows they want to keep improving the mine.

Most days make sure you bring breakfast, lunch and dinner...and possibly another breakfast... Last week it took 6 hours before I was loaded with road salt. When I left, there were 35+ trucks behind me waiting to get loaded.

Don't continue the thought of 'A salt mine...why' just go. It's really a piece of history that covers the whole country. 90 years of operations, tons of information you might not have a clue about. Really a quality piece of education and oddly, relaxation. Give it a try!

This place sucks. They have no consideration for truck drivers. Our time means nothing to them. They waste hours and hours of our time, every time you go there. With no compensation what so ever! !!
