I want to throw up from being so angry. AWFUL experience here, I would never go back and I would go anywhere else. They have a massive flea problem. The blonde women who works at the front desk in the morning was extremely rude first thing in the morning to my family and I, which was extremely off putting, and not only did my cat have complications after her spay surgery, so I had to bring her back a second time and pay, all of my animals in my house now need to be treated for fleas. We noticed immediately after getting back home, the two animals we had brought into Banner Creek had been gnawing at their skin constantly…It still has not stopped. We are extremely allergic to fleas here. Our animals are all chewing on themselves, and we are covered in bites all over our arms and legs and feet and ankles. We are all getting eaten up over here!!!Very upset and unhappy and I’m not sure who to contact about this. I can’t believe I had to sign a waiver, stating that if my animals had fleas, I would have to pay to have them treated at my expense. I told the woman that we have never had a flea problem because we use Seresto collars and have for years so I was not worried. My cat has never needed or been on treatment. Now she has fleas, that spread to my other animals, and did not before we brought her here. We have never had a flea problem. And now my whole house will need to be treated at our cost? That is extremely unfair and asinine that we would have to be responsible for something that came from this place. Disgusting.

I can't say enough great things about the staff here. Our dog started having seizures out of the blue last night. We called the emergency number and the on call vet met us there within 20 minutes and helped us carry our 100 lb dog into the clinic and took such great care of her. She was so caring and let us know everything she wad doing. After all was done and our dog was no longer having seizures, it didn't cost us an arm and a leg for services.

Gunther Trump received his microchip today. As a registered AKC dog I'm so relieved he's in the system!

Absolutely the best Vets and staff around. They really care about our furry babies. They're our family and they treat them as such!!! Most reasonable prices too. Always there to help even if just a question over the phone. ?

Where do I begin? I had just moved to the area and decided to try Banner Creek because I had heard great things about them. I found a mass that appeared very fast on my dog's paw and I took her there for care/surgery. Enjoy my MANY issues I've had with this place in just a month of time...
1. I was put on hold several times and just forgotten
2. I was also told several times I'd receive a call back about questions/concerns I had and never heard anything back. It took me calling them to ever get any answers.
3. First appointment the front desk folks watched me struggle trying to get my large and scared dog up on their scale while trying to keep my 2 year old daughter from running off, I was offered no help.
4. The vet took a biopsy of the mass to let me know it wasn't a cyst and that she'd need surgery removal. We opted to not send that biopsy away for testing because we'd rather have the full mass tested once it was removed.
5. Surgery day comes and I pick my dog up, I wasn't charged for the mass to be sent off for testing. I asked why not and I was told by the receptionist that she would check with the vet and call before the end of the day. I never received a call back. I had to call them back the next morning and was informed they "didn't know" that we wanted the mass tested and I was destroyed. Now I had to bring her back for another biopsy since they didn't remove the entire mass. Also adding that the incision and stitching looked like they were done by someone who had no idea what they were doing, it looked horrible!
6. I bring my dog back and a biopsy is taken of the bit of the mass remaining on my dog's leg and I'm told I should receive answers in about a week and a half.
7. 2 weeks pass and I've heard nothing, they don't have answers back either apparently.
8. It's now been 3 weeks since the surgery so I try calling AGAIN for answers. This time I'm told they received the test results and they are inconclusive because there weren't enough cells to test in the biopsy. THIS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE IF THE MASS HAD BEEN SENT LIKE I REQUESTED!
9. I was told the vet that did the surgery would call me and discuss what the next step will be. SURPRISE! I never got a call back. This time I went into their office because I was done with phone calls. There I was told I the vet was gone (shocking) and I would get a call back personally by Lisa the next day after talking to the vet.
10. The next morning the vet FINALLY calls me and tells me apparently the biopsy was sent from K-State to another testing facility so she'd need to check it...and call me back. Hey guess what? I received no call back. This was a Friday.
11. Monday evening (it has now been 4 weeks since my dog's surgery) I call them since I'd heard nothing. I was told the vet was busy...but she'd call me back. This time the vet actually did call me back and told me the results I was initially told were correct...that they're inconclusive and no diagnosis could be given.
The next step now is to just monitor the chunk of the mass still attached to my dog to see if it grows...and if it does they can biopsy it again.
My dog could have cancer but because of their incompetency I have no answers.
REST ASSURED I WILL NOT BE BRINGING ANY OF MY ANIMALS BACK TO THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING!

I was taking my grandsons dog to the vet in Oskaloosa and she she was coughing the vet there said I should take her elsewhere if I wanted her to be treated so I called Banner Creek Hospital and 2 hours later they were treating her and they have been seeing her every since and I won’t be going anywhere else far as I can see cause they do awesome things for your pets
