We live in a small town. Nex-Tech provides horrible service. If you can finally get to your guide without being kicked out just to start the process all over, it won’t let you choose a channel without kicking you out several more times. Today it took over 50 minutes to get to the programming we wanted to watch live. When you pay just shy of $200/month for your cable and internet I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have the expectation to use the service you pay for. Their cable 0/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND!! The 2 stars is for their internet only. This is not an occasional problem. It is every single day

I happened to fix my WiFi as they arrived at my home for service call. Noticed Christmas lights not working on same plug-in for NexTech. They were not upset, were polite, cheerful and understanding. No charge. Even offered to help move furniture back in place and help me carry my groceries into house. And solved my mystery of unplugged cord. I apologized because I felt bad about unnecessary work for them. I’m a Senior and felt respected!!!

I cannot recommend this service in good conscience. After my internet went out for nearly a month, putting in a ticket with the help center and eventually having to call directly, my internet was restored. I then found out from the tech that calling his office directly was the only way to actually get assistance as the online help portal isn't monitored or tickets get brushed under the rug. I was then charged for a month where I received NO service, and when I disputed that with the customer support lady over the phone, she was extremely rude and wouldnt acknowledge the fact that I didn't get any notice either by phone or letter . She also refused to deactivate my account like I asked, so fast forward 2 months and I'm receiving a bill for the month with no service, the month after I asked to have my account closed and the cost of the modem that I received no instructions on how to return. I wish things could have worked out better with this company because their on-site technicians are genuinely pleasant and accommodating workers.

Terrible internet. Highly Do NOT recommend. Internet doesn’t work half the time and when you call to let them know they take over a three weeks to finally do anything. Then they still charge the full price even though you didn’t use the service for more than half the month…. Customer care also has rude reps..

At first had a great experience then it went sideways real fast the initial installation was great then my family moved and had to have services set up at our new residence then services were disconnected because the sales rep failed to add payment information to our account then charged us $99 for a tech to come out hook up one cord refuse to trouble shoot which forced us to call and complain to get anything done now they want us to pay an outrageous fee to reconnect no thank you. Just spoke to a sales rep and apparently nextech is so big they do not have to worry about each individual customer and do not have to info customers that they will change for 5 minutes of work and complish nothing unless someone calls and complains but even then if you don't like the service they don't care and will not wave fees they failed to inform you of

their autopay cut my internet off so they wanted to charge almost another 50% of my bill to turn it back on. no thanks.

For the most part, internet speeds are as quick as advertised. I will say, though, after having used them for several years now, they're not quick to update equipment as their technology improves. I had issues for several weeks and through many calls to tech support and replacement of my own equipment, the issue was only resolved by a tech visit who found the problem to be on their end. I replaced my existing equipment when I didn't really need to. The service call fee is an effective deterrent to service calls but it shouldn't be. My biggest complaint, however, is with billing and customer service follow-through. First, this is a tech company but their website, online billing and payment systems are a disaster. The account login is separate from the billing login but there seems to be no practical need for account login if not for billing. To make changes to the account, you must call. To make it worse, they've changed billing services twice in the last year. Additionally, Nex-tech seems to pass the buck, holding up refunds and their own contractual obligations. They will disconnect your service and require a deposit if you fail to uphold your end. I've fought a refund of my deposit for months and received a response that they'd "dropped the ball" and it would be issued in another week--three weeks after I was told it would be issued, but 4 months after it should have been issued. A contract is a contract. As a company, they could do better. They just don't. Had I not called at least seven times, they'd still be holding over $300 of a deposit I was entitled by contract to have refunded. Beware when paying a deposit. It's not as simple as they sell you.

Terrible business practices. Tie you to a contract for no reason. They want us to pay $3,600 to get out of a contract. That would be a fair outcome if we were going to walk out on the contract. However the new owner is more than willing to fullfill the contract. So in other words they want to charge both of us. If i pay the contract they will charge the new owner the same as they charge us. Larceny is not a good business practice.

These guys get you taken care of! Their service is amazing and if there are any problems they are immediately fixing the problem. My router started acting up over a weekend and after I called them they took action right away to make sure I had the best experience possible.
