Dr. Meier and staff are so awesome! Our two dogs got porcupined recently , it was scary! Dr. Meier met us at 1am and took care of our fur babies. He is the best!

The entire clinical and administrative team at Hays Veterinary Hospital are welcoming and encouraging, knowledgeable and thorough and professional yet personable. I began utilizing the hospital’s services about a month ago when I rescued a kitten, and from the first phone call I made in panic up to the most recent visit, all of my worries have been met with genuine, honest, and professional input. The entire team cares about not only the patients they service, but those who bring said patients in. It is evident and clear to see the passion they all have to help every animal and person alike.

Dr was very sweet and patient with Snickers as he can get protective of his momma. The Dr took his time warming up to him and gently examined him. Very thorough on questions, shots and Hx. You were amazing. The gal that ck us out was not very personable like she didn’t want to be bothered but overall we love Hays Vet Hospital and our new family of vet care!!! My family has been bringing our loved pets here since my parents were in college. Our pets have always had the most caring experience (in my opinion) & never seemed afraid to be there. Our family has always felt more comfortable at Hays Vet..we love the Dr’s & staff there!

One of the pups is 16 years old and trips to the vet lately have been full of worries. But when I hand her off and hear the ladies talking to her like I do, telling her she's going to be OK and get all the cuddles...it makes it easier to walk out the door! I trust Dr. Meier completely and know he hears and understands every single concern and he's so good at talking me away from my nerves. Dr. Pivonka has been so thorough and it feels like I've known her forever, even though we've only had a few appointments with her.
I can't say enough good things about the Hays Vet team!!
