#1 had to have all $4500 up front. Should have been suspicious. #2 simply asked person measuring to call with a heads up, a day. Called and said he was on his way. Couldn't make it back to meet. Then took several days to get back. #3 delays getting materials then sink. Finally got a message the tops were ready. #4 got home after the install and none of the top drawers would close completely. Had to pull all the drawers and found the original screws that held the original top had been left partially backed out and binding the drawers. #5 the mounts for the undermount sink were placed directly where the faucet mounts. Faucets are a standard length for mounting. I had to chessel out about 3\" square of the brand new top. Quality of the tops is great BUT THE INSTALLER LACKED BASIC SKILLS TO INSURE A PROPER INSTALL. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND I SHOULD HAVE LISTEN TO THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS. It was a local cabinet shop that convinced me to use them. Guessing they never had a problem because they have their own installers.

Not a shocker by reading the other reviews but this company is trash! Was told it would be ready I'm 3-4 weeks, it has been 9 weeks and the day it is suppose to be delivered, the truck broke down supposedly. I asked for an estimated delivery date and they couldn't give me one. I have since taken off my countertops in preparation for instal and now have no kitchen. Home Depot please find a different supplier as this is absolutely unacceptable. U professional and unreliable.

It was a hassle getting them ordered, getting them installed (unlevel, chipped, and gaps from the countertop to the backsplash), and afterwards a huge disappointment in the quality of the countertops.. It's been 2 months and the laminate borders are already chipping off as they weren't glued level with the countertops (so anytime anything is slid off the edge of the countertops they get hung up on the border). Just overall disappointing..

I ordered some pretty standard laminate countertops on March 15th-- just 4 pieces totaling about 120 square feet costing about $1,000. It is June 3rd, almost 3 months later. I still have not received my counter tops. There were several failures on the side of Lowe's and Countertop Trends, but I was astounded at the utter lack of communication or concern-- even after they were aware that my order was more than 2 months delayed and after being informed that the owner of Countertop Trends was directly involved in resolving the situation, I received not a single phone call from the company on the status of my counter tops and was forced to call myself any time I was wondering when I would ever receive. Sure wish I could review the product-- but you see, I still haven't received it. Do yourself a favor-- buy ANYwhere else.

I think it is fantastic that stores as big Home Depot and Lowes sell products that a made in small town Kansas. This is also the only place I know of that can under-mount a sink into laminate.

Pretty sure when CTT’s pants caught on fire from lying our countertops must have burned too. I ordered countertops in late July and tomorrow is October 1st. Guess what? I still do not have the countertops which I paid for ( in -full) including delivery and installation. Between my husband and I, we have taken off work twice to accept the CONFIRMED deliveries. Guess what? No one showed up either time. The first time they forgot to put the countertops on the truck for delivery (they didn’t even bother to call, we had to call them). The second time, we’ll we don’t know. No one bothered to contact us to let us know what happened. The installer is supposed to install tomorrow morning. What is he going to install? CTT has the countertops. Unbelievable, unreliable, and untrustworthy.

Do not order countertops from here! They j*** you around and are completely unprofessional. Ordered and paid for simple countertops in June, not even a corner cut. Here it is the middle of August and we still don’t have them. They are full of excuses - now they call and say they only have half the order to deliver!!! Save yourself a major headache, people!! ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE! Let me throw in there, we actually ordered these through Home Depot, so don’t order from there either!

Only 2/3 of my order was delivered on the date it was promised, yet I wasn't notified of anything out of the ordinary until the delivery guys realized some of the order was missing from the truck (they seemed pretty surprised as well). Result is a week delay in getting a fairly simple wet bar countertop/bartop installed. When I phoned the company, I learned that the missing order pieces had not been fully manufactured and assembled by delivery and install date (hence why they didn't make it to the truck), yet the company scheduled both delivery and install anyway. I now have to wait for a second delivery for the rest of the order and schedule a second install to complete the job. Needless to say, I will likely not be using Countertop Trends LLC, when I upgrade my kitchen countertops in a few months. Hopefully the counters look good once installed, just not pleased with the job logistics and communication (or lack thereof).

We have ordered from them twice, and have had inconsistent results. The first time we ordered a large piece for our kitchen which included a mitered corner. The 10' section of the L-shaped piece we ordered came 1 inch too short on the depth. However, on the other side of the mitered corner, the depth was perfect. The second time we ordered, we bought three small pieces - two for our remaining kitchen counter tops, and a separate piece for a bathroom counter. The two kitchen pieces were perfect. But again, another 1 inch error on depth for the bathroom counter top. We bought our laminate counters through Lowe's and Countertop Trends fulfilled the order. So be wary of ordering through Lowe's because the product quality is rather inconsistent. In fact, we ended up spending an extra $200 out of pocket to cob together a solution of tile trim to disguise the gap between our counters and tile backsplash.
