The staff are extremely helpful. I go here first when it comes to tools and lawn and garden. I recently started making homemade wine because I'm so bad at choosing wine that I thought it would be a good way to learn and enjoy a retirement hobby. Waters is the only brewing store within the area. Prices are very reasonable. The 5 gram packets of yeast, 65 cents. Everything else the same as the best online prices.

For one last year I rented a gas poweredEdger for my lawn. Loaded it up in the truck. I went to start it and it would NOT start. I tried again and again and again. It would not start. So I took it back and told him it didn't work. A year later I went there rented a Roto-Rooter machine that was a power drill with a snake. The machine was literally falling apart as I was using it. It was a piece of crap. Again took it back didn't get a refund. They said it was $20 for 3 hours or 40 for 24 hours. So then charged me 20 dollars for renting it. I will never go back and rent their CRAP again.

There are many home improvement stores Great Bend. I like Waters because I do a lot of mechanic work, and they have a huge selection of nuts and bolts. I have never gone into their store and not been able to find what I was looking for.
