I really like this store but the pharmacy has been closed for whatever reason. Walgreens please help your employees! I can't get through on the phone.

I hate to even give one star but we all know zero stars are not an option. Waiting on drive thru for my covid test with health insurance and appointment time scheduled 4 days in advance and a man comes out says we are closing, sorry!!!!! Last covid test I had scheduled here I showed up and pharmacy helper at window said she couldn't find my appointment so i drove down to CVS , no not there either went back to walgreens again low and behold she found it. Really !! This store has lousy management!

I have requested multiple times for fixes like changing a doctor to be done and each time there's a refill it's the same problem. They say it's turnover and lack of staff training. So... hire people and train them

The staff in the pharmacy are really great. There have been several times lately that I have waited 30+ minutes in line for a prescription I already paid for and everything, but I also understand that some people can be extremely difficult and rude to pharmacy staff and especially with covid going on staffing is probably difficult. the people in the drive thru are always so kind and give my pups treats. I have taken off a star because my meds say on the app "waiting for pharmacist approval" after my doctor sent something in, it's run through insurance, etc... I had to go in to say "hey can you fill this like now cause I've been out for a few days, which is why my doctor sent it in days ago". I never had this problem with other pharmacies before moving to Gardner.

Two months ago I went in to this Walgreen's and was having a conversation with the front register lady Tammy and the shift supervisor Brian. I made a comment in which Brian told me I better watch it because Tammy would slap me silly. I thought it was a joke and she did come around the register and slapped me on both cheeks. The supervisor stood there in shock. She proceeded to try to hug me and my son (who was with me at the time was confused). The supervisor tried to calm me down after I walked away and provided decent customer service and checked me out in photo when I was ready. As I was about to leave my son put back a magazine he browsed after I asked him if he wanted it. And this same lady then smacked me in the back of the head with the magazine and stated what was I teaching my kids! She did all this while on the cameras. I went back in a few weeks later and this lady still was working there. This lady even tried to have a conversation with me like we were friends in the parking lot like nothing even happened!!! How do you assault a customer and still have a job. These people are the reason customer service is so horrible and why so many shop online. I contacted corporate office with no responses. Never will I shop there again. I would have put no stars if I could!!!

This location along with urgent care in Gardner gave me meds that I later found out had gluten and wheat starch from the manufacturer after telling them I had celiacs. I have been ill for about 2 weeks. I suggest their pharmacist brush up on their knowledge of antibiotics and what they’re made of and come from. I will now call manufacturers from here on out, lesson learned.

Can't get enough of your baby screaming in the backseat for her medicine? Ever want to be told lies? Wonder why the current suicide rate is so high? Well look no further than the Gardner Walgreens Pharmacy drive thru line. Enjoy refilling a prescription, waiting in line and then being told to come back later. Yes even with notifications you will be bamboozled into thinking your pills are ready for pick up. But that's not all. You can come back and enjoy it again and again. They imply there are two options for drive thru pick up but not so fast one lane has been permanently closed for the most inconvenient experience of your life. So enjoy the word maybe. "Is my prescription ready?" "Maybe" "Did I just wait in line for 45 minutes for nothing?" "Maybe" "Did a huge fart just become a business" "Maybe" So if you want to see why we, as a nation are failing then simply visit the Gardner Kansas Walgreens Pharmacy.
