We have gone every year for about 16 years. The JOCO fair is always hot and is always dusty. It is a great place to see livestock and get some really good food from food trucks. It has a lot of police presence to ease your mind. They usually have a rodeo and a demolition derby. There were also races this year that I noticed, but they have probably been racing there for many years. :-) It is a great place to go.

Great to see all of the animals. The rodeo was pretty cool. If possible, get the tickets early cause the line gets super long and takes forever to get tickets.
The carnival is fun, the wristbands were 30 bucks and you can go to all the rides. Otherwise it's 5 bucks per ride per person.

I went on the zipper it was so scary but all is fun I'm coming back again but I wanted the Aline thing and it was for money and I was sad but still had fun.

Here for the JoCo fair. Great place, lots of people. Parking available but tough to find. Plan on walking a lot. 4H buildings are neat & plenty of livestock. Also plan on waiting in line. If you need new siding & windows make sure you walk the vendor alley.

While the overall fairgrounds is what you’d expect out of a fair. Parking was decent even at 6:00pm. The derby was terrible. I’ve been to plenty over the years and this was the worst by far. 1 hour and 45 minute round trip. $15 per person, for an hour and a half event. Total let down. Will not come back again. Complete waste of time and money.
