2010 Kia Optima LX Indications: My vehicle had a loud, broken muffler sound. Carbon monoxide fumes entered the cabin. Slight loss of pickup, or torque, and increase in gas usage. I came into Lewis about a week or two ago to get a diagnostic on my car. Service and Part director, Jordan Johnston, ordered a diagnostic done on my vehicle by Henry, the mechanic. Diagnosis: Exhaust manifold needs replaced. Jordan ordered the part, including gaskets. This past Monday, I take my car in to get fixed. Turns out there was a crack in the catalytic converter. Henry skillfully broke off the very rusted gaskets, welded the catalytic converter and installed new gaskets. Lo' and behold, under Jordan's supervision, Henry saved me about $200 on parts, minus the gaskets, and all I had to pay for was mainly labor costs and fees. And he finished in such a TIMELY manner. Thank you Henry for saving me money and time, and Jordan for exceeding expectations on customer service. I don't trust mechanics very easily at all. Jordan made me feel like I could trust him. So thank you. I look forward to bringing more business to Jordan Johnston at Lewis Chevrolet Cadillac.
