They are friendly as well as honest . I definitely will continue to go here and tell others about it. I use to go to B&B discount in Galena but they are rude and tell customers different prices on things. Won’t have this problem at Treasure Hunt.

This is my go to store for remodeling. They have so much stuff. You won’t find interior doors any cheaper anywhere. Or trim!

I love this store, but you never know if they will be there. I drive 30+ mins to find it closed. It is a gamble. Calling them is just as random. But it is an awesome place.

Have been here many times throughout our remodel and every time has been a great experience. They are always helpful and friendly couldnt ask for much more. I would check here for anything needed for home improvements before going to lowes or home depot.

I personally purchased my laminate flooring from this place for my living room, and absolutely loved it. I had done some research about what I was looking for, and ended up buying some 12mm Walnut that had been imported from Germany. They had just enough left to do my living room, which was 370 sqft., and I had purchased my flooring for $518 after tax. I couldn't be happier! They were excellent in helping me find it and load it up after I purchased it, and even let me take samples home. My brother went and purchased his flooring there as well, and he is also very happy with it. Like the earlier comments had stated, their merchandise is everywhere and prices vary. I've been there a few times, and this last time I was able to snag a blow up double twin mattress (that could be spread out to a king) for $5, and got the pump for $7. Not everything is a great deal, but most of the time you will still be paying less for it brand new out of the store, especially if you catch them when they are having one of their sales.

I must agree with the last reviewer - yesterday was my first visit to Treasure Hunt and it's not worth considering a return trip. My wife's impression of the place is that they seem more interested in hoarding merchandise than selling it. I mean, if you have 100 air mattress pumps in 12 different brands, shouldn't they at least be priced to sell? Every item that could have been useful to me was something I could have acquired online, brand new, at a better price. And the excessive number of signs about shoplifting and video surveillance were, quite frankly, insulting. Though when presented with the option of actually paying good money for what they're selling, theft does seem appealing. My advice: stay home and order online, or go to Big Lots.

Today was our first visit to Treasure Hunt and I have to say I was less than impressed. The store is somewhat well organized for its type. However, the prices are a bit crazy. Clothing in particular. I shop a lot and am familiar with the brands and types of clothing carried here and the prices on items I saw were roughly 10%-30% off regular retail which to me is not a remarkable savings. The food items were the worst in my opinion as most are expired or very close to it. Some are also dented and damaged but not well priced at all. I bought a bottle of grapefruit Perrier, because it is hard to find and my favorite. I only bought one because I wanted to make sure it was good before buying the dozens they had (which I planned on) but I'm glad I didn't go hogwild because it was completely flat (marked sparkling and should have been bursting with carbonated bubbles like usual). They had some Mrs. Meyer's dryer sheets which are around seven bucks at regular retailers, and they wanted around five dollars even though the box was open and dented. They did have a lot of tools, hardware items, and home improvement stuff as well as a large selection of camping items and coolers. That's the only reason I went with two stars instead of one. We may return at some point and only then would I consider updating my review with a higher score. From the impressions made this visit, that won't be likely.
