We've used Strickland Brothers(Fort Scott) in the past multiple times, but unfortunately, that changes today. My son took his vehicle in for what should have been a 10 minute oil change, but it turned out to be a 2 hour long fight that ended with the tech cussing at me on the phone while in front of my son who was sitting in the lobby. What caused this- the tech snapped his oil dipstick off and then blamed my son for "not keeping his dipstick oiled". Having your oil changed at Strickland is very expensive, so you would think if they break something- the tech admitted to breaking it, they would fix it- but that's not the case. They'll cuss you and then blame you for their error. The tech also wanted to make sure he told me, while over the phone, and in front of my son that was still waiting in the lobby that he was a "grown "blank" man" that knows more than I do. Here is the icing on the cake- the tech, the manager, and the district manager even told me this was the 3rd time they have broken a dipstick in a week, but it isn't their issue- its the car owners fault. 3 in a week seems more like a pattern than a coincidence. Go here if you want them to break your car(they admitted to doing it), cuss at you, and then blame you for the reason they broke it.
