I never got to tell my experience because I was worried about retaliation, but I will speak my truth now.I will never forget the experience I had at this clinic. In 2018-2020 I had a very prejudice, racist provider. He was a white male and I don’t remember his name. Just an old and hateful individual. I hope he is no longer there. He was the reason why I refuse and was reluctant on going to sick call when something was bothering me. I still think about to this day when he told me, “He doesn’t like people like me”, I asked what he meant and he said, “You people”. I also had to have surgery and he told me he hopped the surgeon makes a mistake because it would be one less nigge* in “his” Army. I would make appointments because of my back pain and that is how all of this animosity and hatred towards me started. He stated he doesn’t like soldiers coming to him when something is bothering them when it’s really not. How can you be a doctor and try and tell someone they are not in pain….Yes I’m a black male and being an African American in the United States is very hard. Being any shade of BLACK in the military is tough as well, and many of African Americans are held bent on getting help for themselves because of the treatment we receive in healthcare and it does not matter what your rank or skin color is. TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT!! I experience that for 3 years and it still is traumatizing to me and I have a sense of fear when I go to doctors every sense then.I hope my comment and experience will be taken into consideration to improve care for not only African Americans (brown and black) but for every race, ethnicity, nationality, Soliders from all types of sexual preference and religions. We all are HUMAN! We all put on the uniform for different reasons and at the end of the day take it off.We all bleed red.Just remember that!

Great health care happens here at Farrelly Clinic.I went in due to a traumatizing lower back pain I incurred from BCT. The Captain/Doctor examined it and gave a very complicated explanation about what was going on with the muscle and so on.The very Best thing is that she described two types of medication that work like a miracle after taking the very first dose.Now I'm free from terrible pains. Pharmacy staff are very professional as well ?

Starting from rudeness and disrespectful of the “MP1st SUS/ reception disk” to keeping me waiting 2 hours for nothing and finally telling me that I should set another appointment and when I came back according to the appointment @10:00 and finally around 11:00 they called my name…..
