He has such a big heart and Truly cares more for your animal than, his wallet....
He waived our exam fee for opting to vaccinate our cat...(who does this?)
This is standard practice I found out...
He also answered questions about a dog that I didn't even take there, yet he was willing to offer some needed advice...

“We took our dogs here for the 8 years we lived in Olathe and would never want to take our dogs anywhere else. The staff was great and the dogs loved going there to board and see the staff. There were times our beagle just flat out ran to the back when we came to drop him off because he was so excited to stay. I can’t recommend them enough.”

“There are a lot of negative reviews on here, which made us wary ... but after the corgi hurt his leg last Saturday, and having had a terrible experience at Blue Pearl, we didn't have much choice. WOW, were we surprised. From front desk staff to vet to the tech who discharged us, everyone was kind, attentive, helpful, and explained everything we needed to know. We loved the vet, Dr. Kilgore, who carefully explained treatment options to us, and the corgi loved the tech so much that he didn't want to leave her when it was time to go. I mean, you know it's all good when your dog licks the tech and wants to snuggle with her, right? When we followed up with our regular vet a few days later, he was pleased, and said their treatment and medications were exactly what he would have given. Also, I had eye surgery three days before our visit, needed to put ice packs on my eye every couple of hours. But we were there almost five hours, and halfway through, my eye started really hurting. The desk staff gave me an ice pack, and one of the techs came out to check on me! Seriously, awesome people all around.”

“Dr. David Senter and staff are phenomenal. The communication is top-notch; no over-promising and no under-delivering. They do exactly what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, only after walking you through every step of the process. That alone shows they care about you and your pet, and will work tirelessly to find a solution. While being a specialist, we've found the prices to be incredibly reasonable. Having a satellite office up north is a godsend for us. We look forward to continuing working with VADC in the coming months and years.”
“We had our first visit yesterday for our puppy’s first exam and vaccine. The entire staff was extremely kind. They were so sweet to our puppy that he didn’t even realize that they stuck him for the vaccine. I’m super happy that we chose this facility to care for our puppy.”
“The techs are so helpful & knowledgeable. Super fast response times, & they are cost-conscious & transparent. They tell you costs up front and give you options. They recommend treatment options but don’t pressure you into treatments you can’t afford. Dr. Locke is the best. He really is the kindest, gentlest vet I’ve ever met. He sits on the ground & lets our small dogs approach him rather than trying to pick them up. Has been very helpful in managing our anxious pups. I’ve had positive experiences with Dr. Austen & Belew too. Not all vet clinics are created equal & Union Hill is by far the best of 3 we’ve used over the years.”
“We've been taking our pup to Dr. Gilmore at Mill Creek since we acquired him 3 years ago when he was 5 months old. You couldn't ask for a more concerned, attentive, thorough, and warm person than Dr. Gilmore. He never rushes you, explains things totally in laymen's language, and remembers personal details about the pet even before consulting the chart. Our pet suffers with anxiety and yet Dr. Gilmore patiently and gently soothes his nerves so that he's calm during treatment. The practice has accessible hours and prices are reasonable. There's no effort to push unneeded or extraneous products or services. The office staff, technicians and other vets are similarly friendly and professional. On occasion during Dr. Gilmore's absence, we have used two of the other vets in the practice. They exhibited the same kind, warm, and skillful behaviors. All and all this is an exceptional practice, which is conveniently located with good street and highway access.
Noah and Dr. Gibbs were very timely, friendly, knowledgeable, and proficient.”

“Hands down the best place for your cat. Are they cheap? No, they're not. But let me tell you what they ARE: experts. They are cat experts. And they aren't in a hurry. You'll leave with information overload instead of being unsure or not completely understanding. They're amazing with cats, no matter how cranky or how sick. They are honest, straightforward and they're not trying to take your money with unnecessary tests and nonsense. They are compassionate and always go the extra mile to help you. If test results come in on a Saturday, they'll call you on a Saturday even though the office isn't open. They keep in touch with you to find out how things are going and make sure you understand anything you're not sure about.
They're great with routine care, too! It's not a 10 minute in and out visit, they will completely check out everything and tell you as they go any concerns they may have. They won't rush through things and shove you out the door, it will be the most thorough exam your cat has ever had. They're also just genuinely likable people who have a great passion and love for felines.”
“I can't say enough sincerely great things about this place! I'm a widow on fixed income & have been reinforced today about my choice in using this practice. My sweet little dog had to have her teeth cleaned & I asked them to look at 4 bumps of concern to see if they needed removing while under anesthesia. As a lay individual, I'd have no idea as to the validity of what they would recommend. Soon after dropping my dog off, I got a phone call from Dr. Thomas. She told me NONE of the spots I'd been concerned about appeared to be questionable. To say I was floored was an understatement. She or her staff could have easily suggested otherwise & I would have been out the money for removal. So, I'm reinforced with my decision to seek care here & am honored such ethical & moralistic people exist at this facility. From the front staff to the veterinarians...my utmost respect. Hats off to the good souls still left in this world!”

He had so many health problems and she really took her time to make sure he was properly diagnosed and treated. She always takes great care when cleaning his ears and giving him his medications. It’s just so appreciated and because of her my sweet baby is on the mend. ❤️?”
