“I had a wonderful first-time western apparel shopping experience with George, Patty (the owners) and their staff. Extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful staff guiding me through all the intrinsics of western clothing. I found their prices to be really good and they even had some additional offers on boots, shirts and belts among things.
While I ended up buying my first Steteson hat at their outlet store in Joseph, next time around I'll buy it from George and Patty. Also look forward to buy my next set of Ariat boots from them when I come to visit Kansas City.
While it's a small store, they have a big selection and they are more than happy to order home anything you want at a competitive price.”

“Found them on a google search when I was looking to get my son get a new board. The owner is a really nice guy and built his board so he didn't have to wait till he got home to ride. Skate shop is located inside of an indoor skate park. Shop has mostly boards but they also carry some tees, hoodies, socks & shoes. They offer a (summer 2023) skate camp & Saturday skate classes. Lots of kids and a few adults skating the day I went in. Nice place, nice owner-Support Local KC Businesses!”

“I have been a diehard Garry Gribble fan for 25 years. I was sad and sceptical when they changed hands but contiued to shop at the Ward Parkway location out of habit and convenience. The customer service, which had always been a cornerstone of the business, began to fluctuate. While I continued to support the business, I missed the original Garay Gribble. On Wednesday, March 20, my faith was restored. I was greeted warmly by store associate, Don Little. Don asked questions AND listened! He considered all of my concerns and proceeded to tap into his prolific knowledge of running shoes…This man knows his shoes! He also understands the issues that the full spectrum of runners can face. “My experience with Foot Spot started a week before Christmas 2023. For over five years I had acute and chronic pain when walking. It wasn't plantar fasciitis, but was situated in the joints of my feet. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I tried so many options over those five years to no avail. Numerous shoes for arthritis, inserts of all kinds, steroid shots, live stem cell therapy injections. I could go on and on. I was never able to even take a leisurely walk around the neighborhood as it was just too much pain to endure. I also broke both of my feet within a six month time period. I did not know it at the time, but I realize now that my footwear was not supportive enough, though I thought I had tried every product imaginable. My son brought me to Foot Spot several days before Christmas. I reluctantly went along, knowing that there was no answer. Gretchen Brewer was the salesperson that day. I put a pair of Hokas that she had adjusted with inserts and other products from Foot Spot. Still, in my mind, I thought this was going to be such a waste of time. After I put the shoes on, I felt an immediate difference, like the shoes were molded for my feet. The comfort was remarkable. I walked around the store and was awestruck. All of the pain was gone. ALL of it. It was immediate. I continued to walk the circumference of the store, because I just could not believe it. I finally realized that I just might have found the answer. After about 10 minutes I burst into tears. I knew at that point that I had my life back! We purchased two pairs of Hokas with Foot Spot products inserted, and two sets of slippers so that my feet would always be in products from Foot Spot. Gretchen was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Whatever was needed, Gretchen had the answer. I am reminded of the healing of my feet every time I run errands and I realize now that it doesn't matter how far from the entrance of the store is….I can walk!! I can go back to fast pace walking as a part of my routine. I will never forget Gretchen and Foot Spot. And of course my son! They both gave me my life back! Believing in the Best fit! Foot Spot is my forever store!”

I’m at the store a lot to see the new deals and products they have coming in and the people that work there are AWESOME, when I’m there I’m usually helped by Jose who’s absolutely the best! Everyone that goes in is treated like a friend by all the people that work there! I have friendly conversations with everyone there while I’m shopping which is nice and refreshing. I shop here mainly for me and my son (who’s 7) he loves the vans store and all the “cool shirts and shoes” (basically his whole closet) we love vans!”
