AMAZING!!!!!! Wednesday Nov 22 2023 was the very first time and definitely wont be the last time that I visit this location. I drove 25 minutes from my location because the hours were very convenient for me unlike the other locations I was greeted at the door by Brian and Lynn took really great care of me. If this is the type of service that I will receive every time I have no problem taking that driveThank you Lynn and Brian you both were amazing and very helpful and eager to make sure that my banking needs were taken care of.THEY BOTH NEED CORPORATE AND BRANCH ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND A RAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please. Whatever you do. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE! They are literally the worst bank in Kansas City. There’s so many better options, you can try BMO Harris you can try Bank of the West you could even do a credit union like Community America.. but please stay as far away from academy bank as you possibly can!

This bank is great long as you have money. If you are a individual that deals with financial challenges or instability this is not the bank for you. There have been occasions when I need things and then here goes a hold, there goes a hold now you can't access your money for 14 days. Their response "oh well we don't tell you about it unless you talk to a live person." What's the point of using all the ATM's that are being set up if you technically aren't getting the best experience with them. Don't get me started on all the glitches that happen overnight! Well now I have to wait. Glad I didn't need it right away.Definitely will start using another bank for my primary needs and use this one for savings only. Might even close it.

I've been with Academy for many years, and this is the first branch I've been to that's really disappointed me. There were no other customers at all when I came in, middle of the day, not a weekend or closing time or anything like that.. and the ladies here made me feel like the simple task I needed was inconveniencing them. Apparently they had better things to do. I actually was going to cash a check as well, but since they were so rude I just left. Whatever, I'll continue doing my banking on the MO side. Customer service was lacking here, which is pretty surprising considering it's a BANK.
