Good place to keep your pets clean, healthy and entertained when you’re out of town. Little pricey but definitely worth it to know your pets are protected and happy.

Just lost my fur buddy to cancer… the staff at ACC&R did everything they could for him…he loved going there as they treated him so incredibly well. Caring and professional, as well as reasonably priced. Easy 5-star.

I have never been to a better vet clinic, EVER. Dr. Parsons and the ladies there were the best and most compassionate people. My dog was dying and they did everything possible to help her stay with me, treated me like family and in that horrible time she was there that all helped me somehow. I will continue to take any pet I have there, I 100% would recommend Dr. Parsons, his staff and Animal Care Clinic. Tangi Prewitt

We booked a stay for our two dogs a few weeks before our arrival for a wedding. Both dogs are current on all vaccinations, and we emailed their records when we made the reservation. Upon arriving at the boarding facility, we were informed that our dogs required new vaccines, despite their existing, up-to-date 3-year vaccinations. Additionally, we had reserved a larger kennel but were downgraded to a small cage that both dogs would have to share. We were also told that the dogs would only be let out of their cages twice a day to use the bathroom.Given these conditions, we decided to find another place for our dogs, as it wouldn't be good for them to be confined to a cage all day with minimal time outside.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Parsons for 16 years. Even when I lived in Manhattan and Wichita, I tried using local vets. Still, I always made the drive back to El Dorado because of his outstanding knowledge and expertise. He truly cares for every animal that walks through his doors and is there for all the highs and lows of caring for an animal. I highly recommend bringing your beloved pet here - he's truly the best!

Love, love, love the care and attention you give to our 4-legged kids. You're not afraid to get down on the floor just to make sure they are comfortable. Bonus is you are affordable, and you always give us options!

Excellent clinic and staff. We have been very impressed with Dr Parsons and the office staff during the interactions we have had with them with our three dogs and our daughter's two dogs. Very personable and Dr Parsons takes the time to explain conditions and rationale for treatment. The prices are also very reasonable . We feel very fortunate that an acquaintance told us about Dr Parsons.

Justin is fantastic! He has a special way of coming in and taking time to bond with our dogs and cats. It instantly makes them calm. I always enjoy our conversations too. His staff is very friendly. Our wonderful vet retired and Justin has made the transition so effortlessly. He’s one in a million! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The diogel that Dr. Parsons gave Templeton helped and he's back to his ornery self. Thank you kindly for fitting him in.

I recently found myself in urgent need of veterinary care for my seven-month-old kitten, Sunny, after his condition rapidly declined one morning. Sunny, an outdoor cat, began showing allergy-like symptoms including facial swelling and severe respiratory issues, indicative of a possible airway obstruction. After our regular vet had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, Animal Care Center was the only clinic in town that could take Sunny in immediately, a gesture for which I am immensely grateful. Upon arrival, we were informed by the veterinarian that Sunny was infested with fleas—a surprising diagnosis given his subsequent clean bill of health in that regard—and needed immediate treatment, including IV fluids, flea treatment, routine lab, and labs to rule out terminal illnesses. The care plan seemed thorough, with promises of updates throughout the day. However, the communication fell short, prompting me to call in the afternoon for an update, only to learn he was ready to be picked up.The treatment billed at $336 included a physical exam, oxygen therapy, flea treatments, a leukemia test, subcutaneous fluid administration, and an antibiotic injection. While the veterinarian assured us Sunny didn't have a terminal illness and he had the antibiotic injection effective for two weeks, we were left with concerns regarding his persistent swelling and breathing issues. Unfortunately, Sunny's condition did not improve; he remained weak, shaky, and refused food or drink. We asked how long we should wait until we see improvement, and the vet said a week. Seeking a second opinion, we were informed by another clinic that his blood sugar was 32, requiring further IV fluids, overnight care, and additional treatments for his swelling and respiratory distress.
While I am thankful for Animal Care Center's immediate response to our emergency, the experience left us with mixed feelings. The initial relief and gratitude were overshadowed by concerns over the diagnosis and treatment effectiveness, especially considering the discrepancy regarding the flea infestation and the lingering health issues that were not addressed adequately. We are hopeful for Sunny's recovery and appreciate all veterinary efforts in his ongoing treatment.
