“We love Kristina and the store because they care enough about the customer to keep things fresh, new, interesting, and plentiful! The store is vibrant and buzzing with energy all the time! But the best time is if you're shopping for something related to Hometown Spirit or local team love. They have entire rooms of Royals and Chiefs merch, but there's also things for ku, k-state, lots of local high schools, including some of the private Catholic schools which is kind of challenging stuff to come by unless you are buying directly from a booster club! I challenge anyone to walk in the store and not walk out buying something. If anything I think it can feel a little overwhelming to people because there's so many cool things. But that's also a really good thing because this means there is no one and nothing like this store in the Kansas City area. You're going to want to go out of your way to drive over here, Trust me. Bring the birthday list and the whole Christmas list. You're welcome.”
“I like the clothes, but the earrings sets wear quickly and bend easily. Also, the clothing style has significantly changed. Hot topic used to be full of gothic, emo, and punk clothes and accessories, but it now mostly anime and cartoons.”

“Great service and very helpful staff. Sean was very professional when processing my order and showing me the firearms I was interested in. While my order/ background check was being processed I was wandering the store and had two other employees ask if I needed assistance. I haven’t had the chance to use the range but it appears to be a very nice and well maintained. Will definitely shop here again.”

“Bff and I decide to take a day trip to the legends. For those of you not familiar with the area, the Legends is a vast outdoor shopping outlet. Lots and lots of name brand outlet stores. I'm a fan of Kate Spade merchandise. Daughter recently found a super good sale on a purse she coveted so I'm supplementing it with something matchy-matchy. The store is small but the merchandise and discounts are BIG. Very diverse selection of purses, wallets, jewelry, clothing, shoes, etc. And all are hugely discounted! Very clean store too (I've been to outlet stores where I literally spray my shoe soles upon departure ?). The clerks are phenomenal-helpful without hovering (don't you hate that?). I found a beautiful bangle bracelet in the exact shade of her new purse! Hurrah! Tag read 69.95 ? and I trepeditiously took it to the counter. She rings up 27.60! DOUBLE hurrah! Very happy as I leave but I'll definitely be back!”

They have amazing sales as well! It’s sad they are closing so many around the U.S. but thankfully, the Express at Oak Park Mall is staying!!!! The only one!”

“I generally do not write reviews, however I wanted to give a shout out to the young lady that helped me at Torrid Oak Park Mall last night. Her name is Mikayla (I hope I’m spelling it right), she walked around and talked with me and helped me pick out clothes for about an hour. I went in there without a clue what I wanted and after talking for a brief time she was already suggesting items to me, some of which I already owned, so it showed she really has a knack for matching clothes with personalities! “This place is as integral to my mental well-being as it is my physical well-being. Nothing clears my head like a PureBarre class. When you walk in the door here, it feels like home. It's such a positive community, the teachers and your classmates care about you. You might not even know their name but they are rooting for your success (both in and out of class) and you feel that energy in the room.I've been taking classes here since it opened; through the pandemic, my first pregnancy & postpartum, and now I'm still going strong halfway through my second pregnancy. I love that I can modify what I need to and go as hard or gentle as I need to on any given day and still leave feeling great.It's the best.”

“They had a pretty good selection of clothes. The prices were ok and they had some sales going on which seems to be the norm. We weren't bothered as we browsed around the store either. Sometimes when your at a place in the mall the sales people are on you like a hawk, but not this place. They just left us alone until we had a question. When we did have a question about the product they were quick to respond with the best of answers. They seemed very friendly and knowledgeable about the products that they were carrying. I still think that this place is one of the most popular places to go for this kind of shopping. I can honestly say that you won't be dissatisfied with your own trip to this location. We now have added this place to our own little list of must visit shops.”
“Practically everything is 50-60% off but a lot of places at the Legend's are due to them being Outlets but Eddie Bauer has Large Tall in-store which is incredibly rare. I have to order the majority of my professional shirts online due to being 6'3 so actually having them on hand in sweaters, jackets, pants, long and short sleeve T-shirts will have me coming back for a long time.”

“Went in today at 5:30 and was trying to pay off the JCPenney credit card and never received the card in the first place. They couldn’t do it without the card or a balance so they got together and talked about it and called the manager up and he didn’t really know how to help and they still came up with a solution for us to get it taken care of and got exactly what we needed done. The best customer service I’ve ever received in my whole life! Great staff there! More than willing and happy to help.”
“I expected to see a better quality or class of womens attire and accessories. Nothing unique with high prices. It didn’t stand out. They did have sales on dresses that were affordable but very little in my size. A difference in price I saw in a handbag compared to a clone at Marshall’s was a 80.00 difference.”

“I had a wonderful first-time western apparel shopping experience with George, Patty (the owners) and their staff. Extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful staff guiding me through all the intrinsics of western clothing. I found their prices to be really good and they even had some additional offers on boots, shirts and belts among things.
While I ended up buying my first Steteson hat at their outlet store in Joseph, next time around I'll buy it from George and Patty. Also look forward to buy my next set of Ariat boots from them when I come to visit Kansas City.
While it's a small store, they have a big selection and they are more than happy to order home anything you want at a competitive price.”
