Very quiet nice and clean mom and pop place. My room was clean- owner was super nice and friendly- and this place is located only a few miles from the worlds largest balll of twine! Plenty of hot water and comfortable beds are what I found here during my stay. Thank you West Lake Inn Staff for having me!

The most comfortable bed! Excellent hospitality! Ashtrays easily accessible outside of room! Even baking soda in the refrigerator. It doesn’t get much more comfortable/homey than this place. Rags provided for gun/equipment cleaning as well. Definitely recommend & would stay again!

This was the perfect little stay. The rooms were so nice and clean. Comfy beds, good water pressure and temperature. Couldn't ask for better, especially for the prize.

This place is kickin'! Very comfy room, with mini bar and hoola girls. It had bunk beds, but I don't like my wife much anyway. The night we were there was Karaoke in the office. My wife got to belting out some EMENEM. She 76 years old, so she didn't dance much. They woke us early for a quick game of touch football before they frisked us for chachkies we stole from the office. We had a good laugh though. We will be back! Next time, we are coming on a Thursday for Blind Fold Spin The Bottle night!

We stayed there when we couldn't get reservations anywhere else.The gentleman was trying but the rooms were musty and very sparce. Door knob was about to fall off and couldn't really lock it.I could have put up with all this if the room was reasonably priced.

I want thank Donna for all she did to make sure I had what I needed while staying there! I needed a bath chair, toilet riser, and a gripper on the wall to make transferring in and out of my wheelchair.Dan-was also very helpful! I can’t say enough about their hospitality, friendliness ect! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience! I definitely recommend this motel!!Rooms: Room was very cleanSafety: They made sure they had everything place for my safety! I forgot my walker so Donna lent me hers!

Surprisingly very clean! Everything in the room worked. The only recommendation is to replace the mattress. It is pretty much worn out, but I'd still stay here again.Noteworthy details: The nearest place to eat is about 15 minutes away.

We stay at West Lake Inn whenever we go back to the Osborne, Smith Center, and Downs Kansas area. We appreciate the nice clean room and the nice bathroom. Comfy beds! We are so glad this option is available in the area. Recommend this as a good place to stay! Great deal and price!

A nice place to stay in Downs KS. Bed is amazingly comfortable. It was simple but was all you really need. My only complaint was I wish there was a coffee pot on room. But that's a small thing. Great people who run it. Friendly, helpful and very nice.

My son and I were in a pinch when our room for the night fell through and the owners came up after hours to let us book a room.Rooms were clean and the shower was hot. It was just what we needed. Really appreciated them helping us out after midnight.Would highly recommend!

I wish I could give you more than just 5 stars!!! This little spot is the best place we have stayed! These folks keep Immaculate rooms and are very accommodating, He brought me a coffee pot, coffee, and sugar from his office area. Also hunted down a fan! *lol* The prices are more than reasonable with good (hot) water pressure the most comfortable bed and pillows!!! Pillows are just as important as the bed, to me!!! We will most definitely be returning on our way back home!!
