Took my Silverado in for a head gasket replacement. Original quote over phone was 300-350. When I picked up the truck final price was 580 dollars! Was charged 150 dollars for a gasket that cost 50 bucks at O'Reilly's or AutoZone. When I asked about it the owners response was well we have to make money too. Do not recommend although the work performed was good.

I used to recommend Wilhite's but recently I took my 2017 in there for a diagnostic but they informed me that they do not have the equipment for anything newer than 2013. Evidently they are satisfied working older cars. So I will go elsewhere.

After blowing my head gasket on my 1989 IROC-Z, I took it to them. We talked about what it was that I wanted them to do. They pulled the engine and rebuilt it. They used the brands of parts that I would have used if I had been doing the work. They were doing the work as I would have done. I'm very satisfied with the service I have received.

Was charged between 200.-300. just for labor (I was told no part was replaced/just rekeyed, not sure why because I told owner what part needed to be replaced or at least a part of it). Problem was not resolved, took back car to have it looked at again, owner had ignition switch rod lubed for temporary fix (just charged 50.00 that time). Problem still exists. When I expressed I did not feel I should keep getting charged for same issue not being fixed, I was told by owner he wasnt going to work for free (I wasnt trying to get something for nothing, I was willing to pay for going price to fix my car but my car did not get fixed after having paid around 300.00). So, not going back, and do not reccommand.
