Made an appointment online for noon. Checked in online just to never hear a word until I walked up to the door to learn they had just closed without notice and without reason! What's the point of making an appointment if they aren't going to honor it.

This place does nothing to help. Had a issue after getting a family plan and went to get help with the cancelled plan. The guy "helping" me kept reading off what was on his tablet instead of listening to me and actually do some investigation. I took me two hours on the phone with Verizon support to get anything figured out and they actually found the problem and fixed it. If you want anything done or any help at all DO NOT go to this store! They don't care about their customers and only care what the computer says.

All I can say is that I used to dread going into the store due to the wait and service, but after meeting Shanice, I would much rather go in and have her take care of any of my mobile needs. I have gone in 3 times-all were a pleasant and I even learned something I did not know the time before-talk about a valued employee. She explains everything, extremely friendly and has your best interest at heart. This store is lucky, due to her customer service, this store gets a 5 star.

Needed to upgrade my husband's phone today. Derby's Verizon store did not disappoint- piss poor service as per usual. In fact, I was slightly impressed with the fact they took awful service to a new low.

I've typically had bad experiences with corporate stores in the past, so this location was a breathe of fresh air. The staff were polite, helpful, and not pushy at all. In fact, I came in with an issue (manufacturer defect) and the issue was resolved on the spot (immediate replacement). This seems like something that should be common, but my past experience with companies such as T-Mobile were the complete opposite. Though Verizon is rather expensive, the only reason I stay with them is because their customer service has typically been superb (at least when I've dealt with them).
