I went to La Posh in the Towne East Mall on Friday August 2nd at 6:30pm. I had an appointment for me and a friend with Amy and V. I’m not sure which tech I had but I was incredibly disappointed with the service I received.
We asked for the Gel X service and when she started, I told her that the gel was on my skin and it burned when being cured. This was because so much of the adhesive gel was used that there was a massive glob under the nail on my skin.
At the end of the appointment she said we were done without cleaning the underside of the nails from the excessive amount of gel adhesive. I asked if this could be cleaned up and she asked “it bothers you?” She lightly touched a few spots with her dremel and stopped.
The next morning, I realized the polish was not very opaque and you could see through the tips with a light behind them and some spots could even see my natural nail underneath.
After approximately 36 hours, the thumb nail popped off leading me to seek other methods to have my nails fixed after spending $70 at La Posh.
This level of service is truly unacceptable for the cost. The two stars is because from the top, the nails look good. But the quality of the work is incredibly low. Also because the tech was very kind if inexperienced.

I had a pedicure at La Posh in Derby KS, and it was an expensive waste of money. I went there with a friend who recommended it, & we chatted, so I didn't really look at my toenails until I got home. Oh my goodness, my toenail ends weren't even painted. My pedicure looked like it was 2 months old and chipped off the moment I walked out. This was the most expensive ($70) & worst pedicure I've ever had.

They can't answer the phone to make an appointment.? Will be going to have drinks and have my nails done at the new place by Maddrocks...Pink nail salon!!! They answered.

Great atmosphere and by a show of hands, who likes it when a business honors their appointment time? Me and my Mama do! Raise your hand because I know you do too. You have a nail time, they honor it. Quality of nail works is above average.
It's a place that puts you at ease rather than on edge. They do not ever appear rushed, and they have not rushed my Mama's nor my nails thus far. ??
And can I say? Builder gel is amazing!

My gel x nails are beautiful, Paris hand painted art and French tip details as well. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. The salon is clean and beautifully decorated.

We came in a big group to all get manicures and they were so nice and accommodating!! Such a fun experience!! Everyone was so kind. And we all walked away with beautiful nails!!

Best nail salon in derby. Chinh did an amazing job on my wedding nails. She was constantly asking if shape, length and color looked okay. They turned out better than my inspo picture.

If I could 10 stars I would, I’ve been going here for several months and they are definitely a place you need to come for nails. Trini is my nail tech and when I say she is talented she is, I can give her any design and she can replicate with ease. I was nervous to start getting my nails done because I was worried my social anxiety would prevent me from making the connections I wanted to. I am so glad I decided on La Posh! Every single person who has touched my nails has been so easy to get along with! I feel like I really belong and I'm not the girl who gets the eye roll when they see me on the schedule ?

Made an appointment about 4 days before and showed up promptly at appointed time. Two people for a pedicure. Didn’t have my appointment down and no one to help. They lost out on about $80. Won’t bother going back
