Stopping through Council Grove with my family to fill up with gas when our car wouldn’t start back up. Called Bachura Family Automotive and was immediately helped. Staff was knowledgeable and it ended up being a quick fix. Got back on our way in less than 30 mins.

We stopped in yesterday as we were having issues with our trailer hitch. We were camping just N of town and our hitch/ball slipped and made it impossible to hook up the trailer. They diagnosed the problem and made a quick adjustment/repair. Took about 15minutes. When we offered payment for service, they graciously refused. They were just pleased they could assist us. I HIGHLY recommend this family owned business.

I've done business with this place on multiple occasions over the course of 3 years and everytime has just made my opinion worse. They are among some of the most self righteous "mechanics" you could ever have the displeasure of meeting. They will literally trash talk the way you take care of your vehicle right in front of you like you aren't there. Not to mention the time they wanted to charge nearly $2000 to fix a head gasket when the actual issue was a broken thermostat. I could imagine doing whatever you need to do yourself would be cheaper and less of a hassle than working with these people.
