I just stopped at this Walgreens ask the manager while they were closing if I could grab a pacifier really quick For a six month old baby gave me some lame excuse that she took money out of the register while she’s running customers up on the register I don’t know what the hell was her problem but get it together Walgreens

Horribly understaffed and currently closing at 8:00 PM as a result. There's also a button to push at the register to get someone to show up and check you out. I'm surprised half of their merchandise isn't walking out the door unpurchased. Wow, Walgreens. Wow.They had what I needed and the lady that rang me up was friendly.

I usually go to the pharmacy as I have a couple of regular prescriptions. I've been through the drive-through and gone into the store. In the three years we've lived nearby they've been very professional and helpful; in fact, I've complimented them a few times for being so helpful. I've also bought things in the regular checkout line. Never had a problem or complaint in three years. We moved from 158th and Nall in Overland Park and this Walgreens is much better than the one down there.

This review is specifically about the photo department. Regarding the rest of the store, I have no basis to judge. My wife ordered some copies of a Christmas photo of my family so we could send out in Christmas cards. When she picked up the photos, it was apparent that they cropped the top of my head off. They told her that's just the way it works and they lose a certain amount of space around the picture and that it's the photographer's fault. When my wife returned home and told me about this, she logged in online and showed me a preview of the picture she ordered and it looked fine. Be warned, that the preview you get online and what they actually print for you do not match. I ended up printing the pictures at home and they looked much better without losing the top of the photo due to Walgreens cropping issue. Avoid the photo department at all cost!

Gave my husband a child medication with no flavor. Called them and then the doctor to get a new prescription with no luck before doctor's office closed. So now babying a sick kid that cannot sleep and feeling guilty that she didn't take the prescribed medicine. She puked after we tried mixing the bitter one with sprite and with pancake syrup and other stuff. So mad and sad and heartbroken. And tomorrow will have to pay full price for a new bottle because was told insurance will not cover same meds twice.

This store is not ANY better in 2018! Went in to locate a specific lithium battery that website said yesterday they stocked. All four employees and mgr were huddled over register counter as I walked in the door. Waited over 2 minutes for them to finish discussion. Manager looked over her shoulder and asked what I needed. Told her lithium batteries and she straightened up, and pointed down the wall, and said, down that wall. Went back to dscussion. Display was messy, mixed up, and confusing. Not in numerical order, nor even Brand name order! Finally found what I was looking for on the top rungs of the display- way over my 5' reach. They were packed individually for $6 ea. Climbed onto to bottom shelf to reach & got two down. Picked up some Easter candy items, and next to a free-standing display, very close to cash register was a very skinny rack of more batteries! There was 1 pkg of 3 of my needed batteries, but no price. Put others back & went to check out. Handed her my rewards card & asked for price of batteries first since rack didnt have price -- it was $11. Ok! The rest of the experience was way too long a story to explain, involving a question about battery expiration, a local check, huffy call to that same manager, and my resolution to never set foot in this Walgreens again.
