Not really sure how I feel put 3 stars as a neutral votetransmission fixed one month ago by them and stopped working today will be bringing to them for the year warranty marked on the receipt hoping it last longer this time I had 4 out of 5 of my kids with me when broke downThey where very fast at fixing this issue car returned 2 days earlier then what they originally told me it would take

My brothers van broke down in KC while taking their boy to Childrens Mercy. Edgar's Transmission took great care of the issue mostly over the phone. Would highly recommend them to anyone that needs assistance.

I can’t say enough good about the amazing staff at Edgar’s transmission. Tim and company are HONEST. I was faced with a big problem from a dealership and Tim did his own diagnosis, and he got my truck running like new. Quickly too! My family and job depends on my truck, and I will always recommend Edgar’s!

They seem to be honest and direct with the issues with the transmission. They tried to get the best price for me in the parts to help lower the cost. They were able to complete the repair much quicker than I had expected. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing transmission work done. Good folks.

My transmission went out on my 2015 Ford Focus. The lady that answered the phone said they don’t repair the DTC transmission on my car… only replace. Well, the repair needed on my particular transmission is very common and a replacement is almost never needed. What kind of transmission repair shop does not repair??

I am not unhappy with their work. I am unhappy with the way I was treated. I called and ask them if they would replace my transmission with a remanufactured transmission. They said they would if I would pay 75.00 dollars for them to test drive it l told them I wanted the transmission replaced. After arguing with they said they would do it but I would have to pay the 75.00 dollars or pay for the transmission up front. The reason they said was that they couldn't return the transmission. And I ask them why they would have to return it. They gave me no answer. Then told me they wouldn't take my check. I am 67 years old and have never written a bad check. My credit score is 800. I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal.
