They have fresh produce now and if you live down around you know about playing where I live you'll know that fresh produce in a store is something we haven't had for a long time. Good thing we can grow our own damn vegetables

After being there reading the reviews and experiencing it myself. I believe the 40 yr. Person is stealing from the store. It was a terrible experience. It's No Go for me. Think about it the most over stocked DG I 've ever seen.....

If I could give it minus 10 stars, I would! I went in with my 2 sisters & husband, we took our time shopping & going down each aisle taking our time. Plus visiting since I hadn't seen them in a while. I started noticing a woman, whom works there checking my sister & I out about 5 different times or more. Then when we checked out, there were 3 employees at the front, staring at us like we did something wrong! One of them checked out my sister, while another, opened up a register, then checked my other sister and then me. My husband was standing up front also. Along with the employee who was following us around the store, like we were common criminals! I have NEVER been so insulted!! Then after we spent like $250, my sister asked for a pack of cigs. They asked for her ID, which she didn't have it but she has a full head of gray hair and almost 50 yrs old. Anyway they refused to sell to her cigs. So we went outside and my husband said he has his ID and he'll get them. So he went in and they refused to sell him any cigs!! The employee said your just going to give them to her. My husband was like, what you talking about! So they refused to sell to him! I have never been treated so poorly by an establishment!!! I won't be back!!

DG is pretty good for snacks and decent quality party stuff, as well as generic medicine and cleaning supplies. When you just need "adequate"and "top quality" might not be worth the noise and trouble of competing with hundreds of other people at larger stores, DG is the place to go.Sometimes the peace and quiet is worth the drop in overall quality, and the fact that they have hard to find items when everyone else is out, is a big plus.They had medicine and toilet paper through a lot of the pandemic, for several weeks after everyone else was completely out.Also, their prices are pretty great too- even compared to Walmart.

Was treated rudely by asst manager yesterday when I asked where something was. laid my stuff down and left called corporate was told day by district manager nothing she could do.dollar general has gotten last of my business I'll drive 12 short miles to get what I need .with all the bad reviews I see bout this store you would think dollar general wouldn't want that reputation.

This particular store will make your blood pressure rise..after 5 pm your lucky if you can find someone to help you or NOT ignore you. Driving 10 miles to mulvane dg is way worth it, totally opposites.. there is no just running into this store because your either ignored or can't find anyone..but self checkout with. No help needed is a 5 star if you need someone it's negative..drive to mulvane ..takes less time

Never experienced a business like this. Every time ( not most times, every time) I've been in this store I'm stuck between a self checkout that won't accept cash and a rude cashier that doesn't want to check people out. This morning was the last time I step in that store

I wanted bbq sauce. I got a bottle and walked around about 20 min. I went to the register, no clerk. I yelled Hello, I'm ready to check out. Nothing happened. I yelled again. Same. I walked to the middle row and yelled some more. I went to the storage in the back. Nope. Then I saw her at the freezer. I told her my husband refuses to shop here for this reason. I started for the register again. She mumbled something about me walking around for an hour! I went to the register, but she didn't feel the need to follow. I didn't see her again. I did see the bottle of sauce slide across the floor. I went to Mulvane for bbq sauce. I mentioned to the clerk there that I live here, but our store is useless. She said "I've heard that before"! BP's DG has a rep!
