Our family of 5 enjoyed a weekend while in town for an event at Washburn. A quick 20 mins into Topeka made for accessible amenities, and the ability to come and go as needed. The Dollar General close by was a quick stop for some last minute items.Angela welcomed us to come watch them work the cattle in the mornings and my kids got a big kick out of watching the chickens and calves. Plenty of space for the kids to throw a football (that we brought) or play bean bags (which we found in the coat closet). We had hoped to enjoy the fire pit but our event ran late and it was pretty windy so we opted out.Everyone had their own space to spread out, and two full bathrooms was great. There's a large space set up which looks like it would be great for a craft or quilt weekend. We used it for games and chalk drawing that were provided. One note for Toddler or SN parents- there is no high chain or deadbolt on the front door, and it's an easily opened lever handle.Hope to come back soon!

The chickens must be very happy to give such delicious eggs! We've also had the kale, chard, bok choi, and lettuce, which are always immaculate. It doesn't get fresher or better than this.

A very warm place to have a good time with this cold weather, the view is wonderful in this season of the year, the super friendly hostess, thank you to be aware at all time.

Peaceful and relatively secluded... with goats. Lots of acreage to explore.
