“Didn't give it a 5 because they are in the midst of rearranging the store. The clerk who helped me gets a 5. She double bagged the heavy items without me asking.”

“Aldi has really upped their game. I hadn't been going there in years past because it was common knowledge not to buy meat or fresh produce here. That has all changed! They are still keeping their lower prices but have raised the value of their products offered. They still offer their store brand items but also have national brands at good prices. I wish their frozen and egg and dairy section were bigger because I like what they have to offer and would like more items. Their bread section is very nice. And the produce is fresh, if small section.”

“Love this location! Absolutely love Amy! Always has a smile on her face and remembers my name which is huge to me. The staff is always welcoming and the store is always clean. Cant say that about a lot of Aldi locations. Highly recommend this location! Great job guys!”

“It is kind of ok, prices have gone up so much, that it is probably just a cheap to drive the 20+ miles to Topeka and go to Walmart. It is just a pain in the butt to drive to town.”

“Well, kind of a "Groovy" kind of atmosphere in here! Employees are very nice, something you don't find in most stores these days, almost a moment of Time-Travel! Went there to get some herbs that treat cancer, I am getting beat up with chemo and radiation.”

“I like this little hometown store. We haven't done any major shopping here, but always go here for the things we need between major trips. They do have some good sales. Always friendly empliyees.”

“They overcharge me for sale items everytime ive been there. Have to go to customer service for refund every single time. So watch that register like a hawk or you will pay extra guaranteed! However they have the best meat and the best prices in meat out of anywhere else ive ever been in Topeka. You cannot find deli meat for anywhere close in price at the other stores here. ( This is not including seafood their prices and selection are not good on seafood at all) . They also carry a ton of items and brands that none of our other local stores here have. 50/50 on the employees. Some of them are outstanding while others are some of the worst I've ever dealt with in a store.”

“I love this store. They have items you cannot find anywhere else. The shelves are packed out like old time supermarkets and they are always well stocked. Prices may be higher on essential goods but that's due to low sales volume. The store is clean. The staff , well it depends”

“This Dillon's is in Topeka, Ks. I was there to celebrate my Mother's 90th Birthday. We had a good turn out of friends who joined the celebration and the cakes were very tasty. I was pleased with the Dillon's store. In the past, I have become very frustrated with whatever clerk happens to be working. I have often thought management has not done very well with the attendant's training or does not care to follow up with their performance. So I was pleasantly surprised with the young man working when I arrived. He was helpful and listened to what I needed without interrupting me to say, "gas is sold by the gallon. I can't tell you how much it costs until you pump the gas." He just got a calculator and multiplied my estimate of the gallons needed by the cost per gallon. Thank you”

“It is almost a miniature version of most Dollar General stores. Don't let it fool you, it is absolutely packed with the same stuff as a bigger store. Bonus points for being organized and clean. Go there while you wait on your pizza from Marcos next door.”

“The Dollar general on like 35th and Topeka boulevard is an excellent store because I recently lost my wife came home from work and she suffered a seizure and passed away while the children were home and I told them what happened because I needed help finding something and I was very very confused but they always have been nice and always told me that I could rely on them for help”

“It was nice to see so many young people employed at the store today. Both my checker and bagger were nice and polite and handled a woman in front of me who was behaving inappropriately for the situation with kindness and grace. They made the best of a silly situation over a coupon for a free item.”

“I can't say enough great things about this store. Hard to find ingredients are easy to find, the meat and seafood department is second to none!! Highly recommended”

“Well stocked grocery store with seasonal items available, friendly staff, and digital special weeklies beginning on Wednesday. Produce is very good, meat and seafood variety is great. Lottery is available, and most have fuel stations that give discounts that accumulate based on grocery purchases. If you belong to Dillon saver program, check customer service for details.”

“My 96-yr old mother has her prescriptions delivered to Thornton Place. She called me and told me she had not received it, so I called the pharmacy and talked to Paulo. He was very concerned and helpful. He looked it up and said my mother had signed for it. Sure enough, she had received it and forgotten. Paulo was very caring and concerned during the whole process. He reduced my stress level by a ton!”

“This is a very large Super Walmart, formerly a Hyper Walmart. It is generally clean and well kept.

However, every time I visit there is something odd. On my last trip there was a guy open carrying a handgun and joking around with it by the entrance.”

“Well, as of 2024/04/15, bidenflation has only gotten worse! Really have to cut back on the niceties and focus on essentials. Beans, rice, tortillas, and greasy hamburger. Just to think, 4 years ago we could afford to go to the local butcher and get a filet, T- bone and a juicy Rib eye, and it did not cost $80.00.

It is not that it is a bad place to shop, it is that the Bidenflation and Shrinkflation is killing my wallet! I think the Fat Cats at the top could reduce their pay by a few million, put it back into the store that way us poor folks are not robbing Peter to pay for our food and essentials.”

“I think it’s time we have a philosophical conversation about what the quintessence of PeePeePooPoo actually is. Some distinguished Ancient PeePeePooPooologists suggest that it can be found in somewhere in the testicular region, but I found that it is somewhere located in the divine, between the balls, and the soul. PeePeePooPoo is not in the physical in many ways though, contrary to the teachings of the Church of GG Allin, it is not a manifestation of Mankind, it is a phenomenon that will only occur on the most absurdist environments, and can only be harnessed by a small minority of soulful, yet grounded individuals. Because I have been endowed with the divine environment in which to manage, and to grow this PeePeePooPoo, I can honestly stand by my clinical studies, not anecdotes of mortals. PeePeePooPoo is not a force to tinker with lightly, and I wholly encourage debate on this subject.”
