This is a great Dollar General Store.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. The store has a good selection of products, and the prices are excellent. Easy 5 out of 5 stars.
UPDATE 9-9-23
I just stopped by the Andover Dollar General to buy groceries, my order was a large full cart order around 170 dollars. Not only was the woman at the checkout quick and got me checked out in no time, but also was very friendly. This is one of the best Dollar Generals around.

Another excellent trip to the Andover Dollar General. This time I almost spent 160 dollars another larger order, yet the woman at the checkout got my order done quick and was also very nice.

As an former employee, I can say and be honest about Dollar general. The Andover location is far better than the Augusta location. Andover understood me and showed how much they cared, when I didn't feel well the manager literally took time out of her shift to drive me home. While Augusta was fine till a coworker started to scream at me constantly and caused me to have a couple anxiety attacks just because I was a little slow while taking the cbl (cyber based learning) tests that we had to do. I'm diagnosed with dyslexia and Autism hence why I was so slow. I was never shown any sympathy or anything when I tried to constantly explain what was happening. So take my advice, please go to Andover dollar general for your dollar store needs.

Service was fair , but ill be damned if im gonna squeeze a rubber pig 3 times for service . If your that short on staff, might need to do something about that.

It seems as I walk in there that the employees are never to be found. The other day when I walked into the store, I saw an employee sucking helium out of a plastic bag and then proceeded to cough and the isles are congested with overstocked items that's rest in boxes. This place is disgusting

I like to go here since it's closer than Dillons for small things here and there. But it's not without its problems. I've been cut in line, seen a line 7+ people deep with one cashier while the other one is sitting in the back doing nothing, and the worst was employees smoking in the bathroom. I walked out that day.
