Decided to try because I love trying all local food and being how I am new to Winterset - THEY HAD MARGARITAS!! The service was great so polite and tentative. We ordered beef the fajitas and the Texan fajitas and a few margaritas... The food came out piping hot and was good not the greatest I've ever had but good. The margaritas - I seen a review that said they weren't that great... THAT'S NOT TRUE!! I HAVEN'T TOTALLY DECIDED WHAT DAY IS GOING TO BE MY MARGUERITE TODAY SINCE I'M JUST MOVING HERE BUT I WILL BE BACK... THANKS for great first experience!

The food was good, a little bland so we needed more salsa. Unfortunately no one came by to see how we were doing and no waitstaff could be found so I got my own salsa from the host stand. No drink refills, still no waiter. Finally we got our bill and then you have to go to the front to pay, they do offer a 5% credit if you pay cash. The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

Service was Prompt (however, no one asked if 'I needed anything else/or, if everything was okay') I could have used more than -ONE-napkin....Atmosphere is pleasant- prices average, food was 'okay' BUT, they Could do MUCH Better (& have a Greater- Draw/Success- to the Winterset community).... Be More Personable with your guest / add beans & rice to ALL your combo dinners ...rice & beans are cheap-& they FILL, the plate, Also:...add a small garnish of Green (chives or cilantro) for meal presentation

Food had no real flavor at all. our steaks were very questionable in texture and flavor. our server had AirPods in the entire time. the atmosphere was pretty good but it was way too expensive for the food we were served. we also all got food poisoning after eating here.

This restaurant is awesome, enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The waitress was so sweet and very friendly. The enchiladas are delicious.
