Great event space! The owner and staff were great to work with and the pricing is reasonable. I will attend other events here and will consider this space for hosting my own event here!

This is a late review but on November 5th we had my sisters engagement party at this venue. They were super easy to work with and pretty much anything we asked about they said yes too. They have a variety of rental options to make your event unique, can accommodate a signature drink, and have AV hookup for all their TVs and Projector Screen. Overall, we had a wonderful time and the party turned out beautiful!

WOW! Amber and The Private Bar did a great job for my daughter's wedding. They were there until the bitter end. Serving drinks, making sure the venue was clean and overall being extremely friendly. Would recommend to anyone who needs a bar service for an event.

This review is for an off site wedding that Your Private Bar serviced, not an event held at Your Private Bars location. When we chose Your Private Bar for our wedding, we felt very good about our choice. However, as we progressed through working with them, we did regret choosing them. This is going to be a very long review, but it is one I wish I would’ve seen before deciding on them.At first, they were very helpful and answered all of the questions we had at that time, this was about a year prior to our wedding. We didn’t have much communication after booking them, as there wasn’t much to figure out until closer to the wedding. I reached out to them about 8 months before the wedding to get a timeline and they sent one back saying that 45 days before our wedding, we would begin the first step of applying for our Liquor License (our venue required one). I trusted their knowledge on the timeline and didn’t reach out again until 2 months before our wedding. The only reason I reached out earlier than they said was because our Venue Coordinator said that we needed to get this Liquor License started, as we should have actually had it started earlier because of the amount of time it can take. I reached out to Your Private Bar and asked to begin the process of the License. In the meantime, we did have a meeting where we began figuring out the details for our wedding. At this point, we weren’t worrying too much as they were reassuring us that we had plenty of time. We waited over a month and didn’t hear any update on the License and then finally got the proper paperwork 3 weeks before our wedding. At this point we were worried because it still had to go through some more legalities and might not be done in time. This is where communication really dropped off with Your Private Bar. I tried reaching out to the lady I had been speaking with the whole process and there was no response. I had to reach out to the owner to get a response and our License figured out and heard nothing from the other lady for a couple weeks. In the end, the license was approved and we thought everything would be fine, although we were still frustrated with the lack of communication. A week before our wedding we didn’t even have final details confirmed or know what time they would be arriving for setup. Again, I reached out multiple times by email and phone and heard nothing back. Finally, the day before my wedding, they sent the final details over. It was extremely frustrating and stressful to deal with. We hoped the problems would end there, but unfortunately the day of the wedding didn’t go smoothly either. Our bar was a cash bar and we were told they would bring plenty of different selections for our guests - we had 145 people attending our wedding and told them almost all of our guests would be ordering drinks all night. The bar opened at 4:30 pm and by 8:00 pm they had run to a store 4 times already to grab more drinks, which they had to do several more times throughout the rest of the night, until the wedding ended at 11:00 pm The bartenders told us that they were told our wedding didn’t have a lot of people who would drink. We were surprised by this, because during our meeting where we discussed details, we told Your Private Bar we had a lot of people who would be drinking throughout the night. We felt bad for the bartenders because you could tell they were flustered and not prepared. The bartenders did their best to keep up and guests did have a drink, even if it wasn’t what they originally asked for. So we did appreciate that the bartenders tried their best in the stressful situation. Ultimately, working with Your Private Bar was extremely frustrating and a choice we regretted. We would not recommend them.

Your Private Bar provided service at our August 2022 wedding at Sun Valley Barn. Annelyn was easy to work with and helped us make a bar package that worked for us and our guests! Our guests had a great experience with all of the bartenders and they were very professional! We also rented out their 'selfie stand' and it was a HUGE hit! Our guests loved it and it was so easy to use!

Your Private Bar was an outstanding addition to our wedding on 9-17-22. They worked mostly with our planners, Honey and Joy Events, to create a phenomenal bar experience for our wedding and guests.To say they can do it all - we had a 55 glass champagne tower, 3 signature cocktail drinks (Old Fashioned, Spicy Margarita, and Moscow Mule), pre-ceremony champagne, and an open bar. We had our guests raving about how good the signature cocktails were, how great they were all night to provide drinks to everyone, and how professional they were.I seriously can't say enough good things about this company. To provide a high-end bar experience on a family farm in IA is difficult, and they did it with ease. So professional and top-notch. Highly recommend!Emily + Dillon

My wife and I used Your Private Bar to host our wedding in September and couldn’t be happier. Amber and her staff went above and beyond to make sure the night was perfect. Even with a checklist, we still managed to forget some things. Amber was right there with a solution! The bar was beautiful and the food and drinks were delicious.
