I purchased a high end cookware set made by Mauviel. My issue is with William Sonoma, and how they stood behind the products they sell. About two months later I brought In the defective pan and the store told me I needed to call Mauviel. After I got Mauviel Customer service, they instructed me I needed to deal with it at the store where I purchased it from. I called the store instead of going in this time and basically was told there’s nothing I can do. After being bounced between the two a couple times I finally gave up. I thousands of dollars at Williams Sonoma over the years, and always thought going to a place like this gave me better service, rather than simply going to Amazon or a box store.

Delivery was 12 days late, desserts were expensive and tasted like store bought production treats.I thought that due to the higher cost that quality would match. I was good with paying a premium and expected better results.

Ordered an expensive pan on April 23, 2023. Delivery promised in a few days. Then order delayed and delayed again. Now, item is back ordered and not expected until June 12... 6 weeks after order. I have no confidence I will receive this pan on June 12, or any date for that matter. Called CS, on hold for most of the afternoon. How frustrating.

This store is not their best example. Service was so poor that we opted not to buy the order that had been on hold for us there. Kitchen Collage in DSM is a great, locally-owned alternative.

Ordered a pretty expensive cookware set online for store pickup. Arrived and was told the set didn't exist. Accidents can happen, but this negative review is due to the rudeness and lack of any acknowledgment from the staff at this location. Including the manager. When I mentioned I had this concern, the staff member turned to the manager and she literally said "it's not my problem." The other staff even looked surprised but didn't offer any other comments. I recommend checking Kitchen Collage in Des Moines or other local shops that will work to earn your business. Quite disappointed and surprised since customer service for their online business has always been very good when I've needed help.

This was a really cool store. While it caters to a more high end clientele, I still managed to find a few things that were really great for my use cases. I am particularly a fan of Breville appliances, and they even had some more obscure ones here. Otherwise, this is a great store for your "buy it once" tools and gadgets.
