I've been a customer since West D opened in 2020 right before the pandemic. There's an employee there that held down the fort throughout. Karen is not only a customer attendant at West D, she is a member of the community. Even though I gave up drinking last year, I still make time to pop in. Karen for President!

We were severely overcharged for two bottles of bourbon. We were told they were rarely in stock and they were $75 each so we bought them. We come to find that you can buy it almost anywhere for $32 a bottle. When we called to see if we were over charged we were told no, sometimes Hy-Vee “does that” with their prices. We also were told we couldn’t do a return.Spend your money elsewhere.

Nice enough spot and helpful. I was hoping they would have a more unique or boutique selection than Hy-Vee or some of the others but didn't find that to be true.I'd go back for sure

Best liquor store in town. Friendly staff, great prices, clean and neat store. Customer service is above and beyond most.If you haven't visited West D liquor you're missing a great experience.
