Not a lot of craft beer options, and what they have is dated. Guess that's why it's university liquors. Selection looked good for booze and they have cigars if thats your thing.

I thought I had found a good local alternative to Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits. The selection is notably better than most locations, save Wall-to-Wall.The prices would be average, except THEY CHARGE AN EXTRA 4% CARD FEE they don't tell you about. It isn't on the receipt, nor is the sales tax. You are essentially paying another 11% over the price stickered on the bottle when combined with Dallas Co sales tax. The owners are hoping you don't notice it, which is why there is no signage telling you that cash is the only way to avoid it.Again, this is regardless of debit vs credit fees; this is on any card transaction. That is 4% of pure profit they don't disclose. They will blame it on their CC processor, or literally anyone to avoid responsibility. They are preying on people that don't pay attention at checkout. I find this to be very sketchy behavior, and representative of the kind of business owners they are.2 stars for variety, -3 stars for theft.

Good selection but their prices are too high. Hy-Vee or Wall to wall sells most of what they have for much cheaper. They price gouge on allocated items. They used to do raffles at decent costs but now just give to the highest bidder or friends they know willing to pay the extra cost.

For a bourbon snob, this is a great stop for better bottles at reasonable prices. Upper level tequilas and rums, too. Go there.

best product line and better prices than Hy-Vee and awesome customer service I have had today I’m not sure name of the guy I think it’s avi who is working today but awesome guy helped me in every way and awesome salesperson. Thank you university liquors .

You want a liquor store that has more than bud light and seltzers (which this place also has) get your butt to this store. Some of the best bourbon, scotch, rum, tequila, and whatever the hell else selection you could want. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and lets you occasionally sample some of the nicer liquors. Stop by this place and make it your wdsm/waukee liquor store. Who knows you may stop in on a Tuesday and meet a new friend called AB!

If you want a special bottle or any new product, they will get it for you if it's available. Also super friendly and will respond to Facebook messages about products. The only liquior store I go to!

Ordered through DoorDash and had an issue. People working hand delivered instead of canceling. Went above and beyond for customer service. Will not go anywhere else for now on.

This store has a huge selection of anything you would be looking for. The staff has always been extremely helpful and overly friendly I love swinging in here it’s fast and they always have exactly what I want!
