I always appreciate the greeting when I walk in the door and the offers to help. I love that the store is jam packed with goodness, yet feel so organized so it's not overwhelming. My absolute favorite is the scrap bins!

I’m from California and I have been receiving emails from Iowa Quilt Block for a couple of months and I would have to say that it was the cutest little store and it’s not so little on the outside it looks little but it’s rather large inside but the staff are wonderful people. They helped me very much and we’re very friendly. I would recommend it for a trip for yourself.

Tech Pat and Lynn worked on a timing issue on my Handi Quilter. Delightful people to work with. So pleased with their quick response to my repair needs and willingness to do whatever it takes to make the machine run like a charm.

Great, large store. Good place for machine tuneups. But if you are planning to visit on a Sunday, check their Facebook. I have tried to go on a Sunday a few times and they have been closed. But they do let you know on Facebook.

This shop has an excellent range of fabrics to please all quilters, and also some great fabrics for clothing, bag making, or crafting. They have a great selection of notions, tools, and accessories too! A knowledgeable and helpful staff, always pleasant to chat with as they cut your fabric or help you find something. Dont miss the clearance section in the back room, or the short bolts on discount for some great deals!

This quilt shop is awesome! always helpful, kind, and courteous. They go out of their way to do what they can to assist you on whatever your working on. I was having a hard time with drunkers path. One of the team members sat me down and showed me how she does it right on the Bernina machine. I have so many more stories about their great customer support. Not to mention their wonderful collection of fabrics, patterns and notions they have to offer.

NASA states that there are 200 billion trillion stars in the universe. I would rate The Iowa Quilt Block that many, or more. Shelley and Sarah helped me more than I could express..I walked in off the street needing help for my Mother, who is fighting a battle with cancer, to gather materials and supplies to sew a garment that I knew would help her live in comfort while she is going through hard times. Shelley, who is the owner, told me that they had some of the materials but specialize in quilting so some of the items she did not have. Without hesitating she jumped on the internet and pointed me in the right direction with a detailed list of materials and where I could find them.Today, I returned to The Iowa Quilt Block with all the materials but still clueless on what to do. Without hesitation Shelley, and her amazing employee Sarah, helped me create what my Mom is enjoying as I write this review.I left there today with help when I felt helpless and a reassurance that there are good people in this world that care. Words cannot begin to express how thankful I am for the help., God Bless

I purchased a Bernina sewing machine from these lovely ladies. They have been nothing but helpful each time I’ve come in or called with questions and never made me feel like I was bothering them.
