They put stock on their website that wasn’t actually available yet. The items that were the reason I ordered from them in the first place weren’t even available, despite showing as “in stock”. They told my shopper the items hadn’t been dropped off by the vendor yet. Why would you show them as “in stock” when they’re obviously not? A waste of my time and money, a waste of the shopper’s time, plus a huge disappointment when I didn’t receive the items I ordered.
They’re STILL showing as “in stock” and able to be picked up or delivered. The Target 360 subscription really isn’t worth it if they can’t even be accurate with their inventory and provide what they claim they have.

Was browsing around for gifts for friends birthday, then was yelled at with profanity for browsing around and told to pick my item and leave or get kicked out, very poor experience. So can I not look at items anymore with out being sworn at? Very unprofessional for an employee.

While waiting in line (the only open line); an assistant team lead named Manny eventually came over to open the self checkout area to help get customers out faster. I am second in line, but I have Shipt orders, so I need to have my cart audited by the person working the self checkout area. Manny is monitoring the area, like the normal cashiers would do. No customers need his assistance, so I advise that I have 2 Shipt orders, he states he has to help everyone else first. Why is that? Every other cashier that I have ever worked with while doing Shipt orders is able to multitask, why would an “assistant team lead” be any different? Are the most incompetent Target employees elevated to leadership positions, while the cashiers being paid less are the only ones expected to go above and beyond in their position? I advised again that I needed to deliver 2 orders and didn’t want to risk being late, could he please take a look so that I could be on my way. He repeated the same as before. Am I misunderstanding something or perhaps I have just been lucky each time to have been helped by a cashier? Are Target customers who opt to utilize Shipt instead of coming in somehow less worthy than customers who shop in store? Are Shipt shoppers not also customers? Am I not standing in the customers place? It’s hard to believe that I should be treated any differently. Aside from that, after waiting in line for a few minutes, to have everyone after me helped before me, is the absolute worse type of customer service I have ever experienced. It was sad to see Target staffed by a handful of employees, literally about five of them in various parts of the store. After my encounter with Manny, I wonder if his poor “leadership” has been a factor in that. Do better or remove Shipt delivery as an option. It’s clearly too taxing on the management team.

Poorly displayed makeup products. Some makeup products' staged stock is completely damaged. Many products with obvious signs of being used and tampered with are still out for sale.
Outside of the makeup department, the store seems hygienic.

Target continues to improve their pick up service. Last time I used it, as I was driving up, I saw a Target rep wheeling out a cart with multiple orders on it. She was going towards the pick up area. When I pulled up and texted that I was there, she was able to immediately bring my order. Keep up the good work Target!

I cannot remember ever having a bad experience at Target until 1/20. My daughter had placed and order for pick up (a little over $200). When I went to pick it up, a woman in a Joe Coffee beanie helped me. She was incredibly nasty from the get go about scanning the order on my phone. I also had a return of a headset. She acted like I stole it. It was purchased (had the receipt) two days earlier and had never been opened. She opened the box and went over every inch like they had cos $1000 and I had stole them. Ultimately, I got the refund. I called back later to talk to a manager. Manager, Jeff, listened to the issues while yawning which just seemed to exemplify this Target. I have other stores where I can spend money. It won't be this Target again.

Impressively bad experience. I've never had a bad Target experience in my life, but this one was memorable. I had foot surgery recently, so had to use one of the store scooters to get around. At the checkout, there were carts right after the register cluttering the area so I couldn't get out of the checkout lane with the scooter. The cashier just ignored me as I struggled to try to get through. I was trying to reach ahead and grab carts to move them, getting myself caught on the corner of the checkout counter, etc. (truly it was comical). Then the person I was with rushed over from their own checkout lane to help me. When they asked the cashier if I had more bags, the young cashier just looked at them and rolled her eyes. I was too frazzled with the carts and my scooter to pay much attention to that.Got home and realized...a bag was missing. Called the Target and they checked the cameras and realized the cashier left 1 bag (of course the one with needed medical supplies) in the bagging area and never put it on the end to hand to me. They also saw on the camera she just emptied the bag in the "a customer decided they didn't want these items anymore" bin...so everything I already paid for was returned to the shelves. It was only 1 hour between checking out and calling the store. The woman on the phone was very nice. I would give her 5 stars. But between the cashier, the carts in the way of leaving the checkout, and having to return to the Target the next day to get the same items (one of which was then out of stock and another which had increased in price overnight...)...2 stars is generous.

Appreciated the selection and availability of the items I was looking for, and assistance from very friendly & knowledgeable staff! Love the birds!!Service & selection - Alex at the Valley West store (west Des Moines IA) was very helpful in assisting me with a self-checkout purchase and downloading the app in order to maximize my purchase with specials currently available for merchandise.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Was just shopping around with my friend when this CREEPY worker kept following us around literally EVERYWHERE. Someone had already spilled shaving cream all over an aisle, and then he came and rudely accused us of doing it. The store was also really messy. Shop at a place where the staff aren’t on their phones and yelling at customers.
