Freshly remodeled, clean rooms and friendly staff. Good location. The GM Conner is always the best, always there to take care of his guests.
Rooms: The rooms are newly renovated. So it is bright and fresh and has that new smell still.
Nearby activities: Close to I35 and I80. Just located off Jordan Creek. Which has many things to do or places to eat.
Safety: I do stay for extended time periods over the whole summer. I've felt uncomfortable with the other guests or the area.
Food & drinks: Included social hour M,T, and Wednesday evening. Which Includes a snack or a meal and some tasty beverages.

Quite literally the most unorganized hotel I’ve ever been to. I travel with my boyfriend for his job. We booked a 12 day stay over the phone with the front desk at Staybridge on the Wednesday before our stay - check in on Saturday. We asked if a 12 pm check in was okay, they told us that would be more than okay and they would see us Saturday at noon. Get to Staybridge, today (Saturday) at noon, try to check in and get told our rooms not ready yet and they would tell housekeeping to “move our room up on the list.” And to come back at one. We decided to go out to eat and grab lunch to give them a little extra time to have the room done. Arrive back at Staybridge at 1:30PM and try to check in to get told that “they don’t know what to do because the guest that’s in our room hasn’t checked out yet and they have zero other rooms available” to put us in. We didn’t have a choice but to cancel. There wasn’t any offers of trying to get us into the other Staybridge in Des Moines OR giving us a discount/letting us cancel free since they clearly double booked the room. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Note that they ALSO had taken 3 phone calls while helping us. The 1st was someone calling to cancel a reservation. The other 2 were people asking to check in today and they got told there was no availability. Would highly recommend finding a different hotel and saving yourself the headache of booking here!

Newer hotel. Great rooms and property with plenty of restaurants nearby. Pet friendly, so was perfect for us in our travels.

Excellent dog-friendly place! Love their breakfasts and they're always accommodating.Rooms: We had a double queen suite. The kitchenette was perfect for us. We needed the space and the mirrored closet was a blessing!

Aging hotel with communal areas being remodeled. Friendly staff. Fitness Center is closed and apparently has been closed for most of the year. The hotel is not forthcoming about this on their website (as of November). Rooms are dark, aging, bed is comfortable.
