The grounds maintenance crew do a wonderful job keeping the property clean and landscaping in great shape . They were doing the HUGE job of leaf removal , I spoke with Molly and all of the crew with her … all the workers are pleasant and friendly. A wonderful amenity included with this apartment complex

Kevin was such a help today!!! We are so thankful! We had 3 wasp nests on our deck -and we unfortunately got stung 4 times. Kevin responded quickly and took care of the nests. We are excited to enjoy our deck again! Thank you for your friendliness, Kevin!

It's the little things - the hallways always smells like marijuana, I've had to replace three tires since moving from running over nails in the parking lot, and they gave me a $100 laundry card (which I was super pumped about!) but the laundry machines in my building only take coins. I do have to say, the people in the office are very friendly and understanding! I'm unsure of her name but the gal who cleans the apartment common areas is the nicest person I've ever met!

I'm happy with my quiet unit with picturesque views and good neighbors. Environmental Services is diligent with property upkeep, including landscaping, pest control, and prompt snow removal (usually by 6 a.m. weekdays) and efforts to discourage too many resident Canadian geese. Maintenance issues are addressed promptly and very courteously. I've been impressed of late by the value of the pre-emptive measures they undertake, like K9 bedbug inspections, regular pest spray, instituting parcel lockers to hopefully cut down on theft, and sprinkling salt on icy building entryways and sidewalks for winter safety.

Been here for about a year and a half. Really pleased with PPM. Very responsive staff including maintenance staff. Laundry machines are communal but that's a small price to pay for everything else I get. Rent includes internet and cable and the stability and speed of the internet is excellent. Even then, the rent is competitive and very reasonable.

I have only had 1 issue since I moved in, and maintenance fixed that the very next day. Water, trash, cable, and WiFi are included in the rent, which is nice. The only bill I pay is electric. Depending what building you live in, some don’t pay electric either. Overall it’s a quiet place to live and the rent isn’t bad with all utilities included.

Contacted the office at my property several times about ending my lease at the end of the month. Received a reply the next month, and am now being forced to pay rent when I have already signed a new lease.

My review is based off the Ames location office and staff. Since they removed that location, my review went away. I feel people have a right to know how this company treats their tenants, so I am reposting on this location, as it is the same company.Professional is the last word I'd use to describe this management company.1. The receptionist will not direct you to someone educated in the area you have questions about (certain applications, processes and forms). The receptionist gave completely different information to me than she did to my roommates. She claimed that "Why can't you just understand what I'm saying?" She was harsh, rude and started yelling over the phone. When I went to talk to them in person, they told me exactly the opposite of what they had told me over the phone. Communication with them was frustrating and impossible.2. We had Internet problems for nearly 2 months. We called and let them know there was an issue and we were told for 2 months "they were working on it", and by working on it they meant they were doing nothing. They never called Mediacom to see what the issue was. They expected us (my roommates and I) to set up the appointment and be there to meet the Mediacom worker. Please note, the Mediacom account was under PPM's name, NOT the tenants, as it was included in rent and paid by PPM. Finally, after phone calls, emails, and personally going in to talk with them did they did meet with mediacom. It did take over 2 months of constantly contacting them though.3. Do not expect them to be helpful in a roommate transfer situation. Everything is put on you. No help making meetings with them or finding out times. Terrible about communication.I was told I could bring in a roommate that passed PPM's rules. PPM told my roommates that they (my roomates) could deny anyone who wanted to sublease my contract if my roommates didn't approve. My roommates purposely said no to everyone so they could pay the rent of split 3 ways but only have 2 people living there (I was moving out of state due to graduating early). When I explained this to PPM they accused me of lying just so I could get out of my lease.My roommates ended up finding someone they liked super last minute. PPM management and office staff asked the new tenant, and I quote, "Are you SURE you want to live with these people? They're crazy and insane! You may want to think twice." The staff badmouthing their tenants and trying to manipulate new tenants to not take over a lease screams unprofessional.4. They won't give you any of your deposit back. You can leave your apartment in better condition than you recieved it and they will still find reasons to not give your full deposit back. They marked "Misc Cleaning" on my walk through sheet (notice only my bedroom was included in my walk through due to my roommates still residing there), they never explained the cleaning they did and my roommates said they never even cleaned when they did the walk through and didnt come back to do any cleaning before the new sublease moved in.Overall I suggest not renting from a place that is run by professional property management. If you're wanting a smooth and quick management team, look elsewhere. There are sooo many great management teams out there, don't waste you're time with one like PPM.

PPM is a great company, they take care of their property really well. I like living at one of the property they own called Sun Prairie Apartments complex, and I like living here a lot.

I have lived in PPM apartments for about 5 years. Yes, the rent has gone up, as all rent has. However, the management has been very helpful in getting any internal apartment issues fixed very quickly. They have all been very friendly and expedient. We live in a middle apartment, and they did institute something new recently, where if you have noise issues, you call the cops, not them. This is something I'm not too thrilled about, because we have regularly had people who stay up all night doing who knows what (sounds like pogo-sticking or running laps) above us. It would be nice for PPM to have a process to handle this sort of thing, if it's not loud partying. Otherwise, everything has been professional, we have felt very safe, and had no questionable neighbors. All in all, a good experience.
