They didn't have any water proof mattress pads in stock so they offered to ship to me for free shipping and only the price of what it was. No extra fees for shipping it to me! Super Nice! Sldo of ur looking for hallowen decor they also have somr pretty good hslloween fecor for the upcoming fall!

I placed an order literally 2 hours ago online for a clearance item to be delivered to the store thinking that shipping to the store would be free. (I was never told during the ordering process that there was a charge to ship to the store). After placing the order and receiving notification there was a $9 shipping charge on the order I called the customer service line and was on hold for 22 minutes and another 15 minutes while the rep tried to figure out if they could cancel the order. They could not and told me to call the store directly and see if they could cancel the order. I did so immediately and was told it was "too far along" in the shipping process to cancel ( even though it is not scheduled to be delivered until a week from now) and it cannot be returned as it is a clearance item. I will never do business here again and encourage others to do the same. Horrible customer service!!!

We placed an order for a coffee table set in June with a delivery date of early November. Later, while looking for other items, I noticed that the coffee tables were showing a delivery date of August for new orders. After contacting Pottery Barn, the customer service person indicated we would not be able to get the tables until November but offered a different in stock table . We canceled the order and placed a new order for the same coffee table set in September with a late September delivery date. Our local store received the exact coffee table set for display during this time. Without any notifications of order delays , we were informed in early November that the coffee tables had arrived at the local warehouse and we could arrange delivery. The earliest delivery date is the middle of January. We are extremely frustrated.

Unkind and immature staff. While my older teenage daughters were at the mall today, I asked them to pop in to this location to check the in-store rug inventory. Specifically for a 10x14. Mostly on the off chance that kismet strikes, and a neutral 10x14 happens to be in-store. My daughters were helped by two women employees, a brunette and a blonde. Upon my daughters leaving, the blonde employee leaned over and said to the brunette employee, “can you believe she just sent her children in here?”My daughters were not out of ear shot. One of my daughters turned around and made eye contact with the employees. This blonde employee knew she’d been heard, and the brunette had enough tact to not respond. Is this the example we wish to show young women? In Pottery Barn, no less?! The message that we gossip, shame, and judge mothers who allow their teenage children to check store inventory for their working mother? Shouldn’t we be engaging the next generation with support for independence? Championing young women AND their mothers?I love shopping at Pottery Barn, and this experience has been noted. As a woman, I am disgusted by the behavior of a Pottery Barn employee. You did the brand you represent a disservice today. Do better, and to the brunette, you missed a moment to champion women. Stand up to shaming bullies, even the ones you work with. Young women are watching.

Long story short this place has great staff. I think in generally Pottery Barn has well prepared staff but really impressed with this location in general.

Possibly the worst purchasing experience of my life, I have spent $4,935.63 for 2 pieces of furniture over 4 months ago and have received nothing but frustration. No one can tell me where my items are or when they might show up. The customer service is nothing short of terrible, I have made several calls and received conflicting stories and I was even told once to be patient and wait until the items show up. I just spent yet another 1hr 6mins on the phone with customer service and again am nothing more than disappointed and out right angry. I would not recommend this store for any type of purchase.

Went into the store at Jordan Creek mall in Des Moines, Iowa and was treated very rudely. Short with answers and not assisting with what I wanted to purchase. “Stated to just go look for myself “ I have recently purchased a large amount of gifts during the holidays. I probably will never go back to that store. Need some education on customer service.
