Everyone at the store is fantastic! It was a little chaotic because they got a truck in, but the store is clean and the animals look to be taken care of! We actually were there for a grooming appt and the staff in the salon was great too! Genesis took very good care of our giant schnauzer and gave him the perfect hair cut! We’ve had issues at another place before and she definitely listened to any concerns I had from past experiences and helped me address what needed to be done! I’ve already rebooked Jet and booked Aelin to see her!

Helpful staff. Didn't have the bedding I needed but she knew when the truck was coming and that shows they are knowledgeable.

Came in to get some fish, talked to Chloe for advice on which to get. She was very passionate about them, seemed like she wanted the fish to have good life. She showed us equipment that would provide the best environment for the fish. 11/10 for Chloe, hope to see her there more!

Cashier knew about Petco rewards. A team member I asked about the price of dog food not labeled on sale. They said it wasn't on sale without scanning it. I went to the register and it was on sale.

Honestly, my first time going and it was great. It has everything you might need for your pets and veterinary services, which is great. Also, yes, pets for sale of very varied kinds and for adoption, but as always, remember if you're going to get a new critter to love, be aware and mindful of the responsibility it conveys to have a lovely creature under your care.

lololololol dr Anderson didn’t do what she said she would, falsely said my pet was examined when she missed a whole diagnosis and didn’t test my pet for common things like an uti. found out my pet had an illness probably for about 3 months after going there for the past 5 months it’s slowly been building up went to another Vetco and boom they fixed and got the request done with ease thanks to Alexis at the Clive Vetco and Dr.Nelson patience and attention. I will be going to a private vet now because cant trust a doc that couldn’t do a nail trim or diagnose a uti. And she didn’t want to examine my pet in front of me was the first red flag.

When I walked to the cashier to check out I head a girl talking kinda rude to the other employees and when the cashier said that Lauren would be good at getting the person at the front there hamster cloe(I think that’s her name) just said she would do it very rudely to everyone else. I really didn’t like the how she talked to the people she works with. ?

If I could put a -10 star on this Petco I would. If you are a fish owner and know anything about Betta fish, this Petco has decided to incorporate betta fish into their main tanks. This poor guy pictured was scared and stressed. I am very disappointed in this Petco.

Had the best experience adopting there on Thursday 02/29/24. The Department Manager that was closing was AMAZING (I'm sad I didn't get her name!). We went in around 8:40 to get litter for our cats and instantly fell in love with a kitty up for adoption. She made the process easy, explained everything really well, made us feel welcomed even when the process went on for maybe 10 minutes after closing time. Her and her team were extraordinary!

I'm deeply disappointed and frustrated by what happened during my attempt to adopt a kitten. After losing my beloved orange cat of 15 years, I felt ready to open my heart and home to a new pet. Following instructions, I went to get cash for the adoption fee, only to return 15 minutes later and be told the kitten I had my heart set on was already adopted.
Feeling hopeful, I turned my attention to another kitten, eager to provide it with a loving home. However, I was told I couldn't adopt this one either because another couple was considering it. I expressed my concerns about the unfairness of the situation, especially considering my background as a former vet tech. I had already meticulously examined the orange kitten, ensuring it met all the criteria for health and well-being that I've learned to assess over the years. The salesperson explained the kittens had been nurtured/spayed and were only 9 weeks old. I was concerned at that age the kitten may later experience obesity, decreased immune response, bone growth issues and a predisposition to obstructive lower urinary tract disease (The ideal age is 6 months).
Despite my careful evaluation, the adoption center expressed dissatisfaction with how I interacted with the kitten, which I found incredulous. They refused to provide me with an adoption application. It's disheartening to encounter such obstacles when all I wanted was to give a deserving animal a loving home.
The entire experience was deceptive, discriminatory and prejudiced. I am filing a complaint with ARL and Petco corporate.
