My sons wanted to purchase a Thanksgiving center piece for our family gathering and their mother's birthday.They went to Nielsen's and picked one that was pre-made with 1 candle. They really wanted a 2 candle item.The employee/owner said he could make one up in just a couple of minutes... and he did.My son said the guy whistled while worked and came out with this beautiful center piece.Thanks, Nielsen Flower Shop, for another pleasant shopping experience at your business. Wow, we found flowers for my father’s funeral very quickly and we had a very personalized 1:1 experience. I highly recommend going to see Paul the florist - the shop is beautifully decorated and he really knows his stuff to make recommendations.

I wish I could give them ten stars instead of five! Excellent customer service. I live in California and needed to send my sister flowers quickly to her hospital room. Paul was superb over the phone, he filled my order and delivered the arrangement within an hour and a half!! Needed a local florist for a flower delivery and Nielsen went above and beyond! Ordered online from another state and shop employee called to say a few of the flowers I ordered were out of stock... they gave me several suggestions and I told them I trust your professional expertise! Boy am I glad I did! Flowers were delivered same day and they looked beautiful, despite the 95 degree weather! Thank you!!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service the gentleman yelled at us over the phone when they couldn’t find an order that we placed with one of their employees. Go to HyVee instead they’re organized and can get things done. It’s sad considering we tried to support a smaller local outfit.

Paul went over and beyond this Veterans Day! It was my fathers 97th birthday and Veterans Day. The office at the Vets Cemetery was closed so Paul called me and asked me directions to what gravesite my father was at and he made a special trip to deliver flower to my dad!

Called the shop from out of town to order flowers for a funeral. I had seen an arrangement on their website that I liked, but when I inquired about it, Paul said one of the kinds of flowers was not available. He thought for a moment and said he could substitute something else. I agreed to that, and asked to have a receipt emailed to me. I received a receipt, and a family member sent a photo of the flowers. They were lovely, and we were pleased. On top of that, Paul, I assume the owner, was very personable and pleasant.
