Local atm at hyvee malfunctioned and took 40 dollars in cash from me instead of depositing it into my account. I have receipt from machine to prove that there was an error. Staff member at this bank didn't reimburse me my money and treated me like I was a liar trying to scam their own money instead. Completely unsympathetic. Had me fill out a sheet of paper so they could sent a technician to the machine to make sure there really was a discrepancy. They never bothered to follow through and I'm still without my money. Glad I do not bank here and would never use an atm associated with this company again.

I have been very satisfied with our service at Midwest Heritage Bank. We have personal and business accounts as well as personal and business insurance with them and they have always gone out of their way to help me get things set up, answer questions. I don't know how business owners can work with big banks and get things done. Any bank will have it's issues with electronic services but they always get any issue I have resolved quickly and professionally. They are simply the best bank for us to work with!

Takes forever to get things processed and I’ve called multiple time this week before going into work to be met with a voicemail, at noon, like come on…Very disappointing and having a hard time reasoning staying with MWH over X, Y, or Z

I have never had such bad service from a bank before. I have spent 3 days trying to be able to use the online banking. I was locked out of making payments. I contacted the bank to get help. I was passed on to someone else. This person couldn't figure it out, and told me they would call me back with a solution. They never called me back. The next day I drove across town to the bank to get help. They could not help me. I received a call from another person. This person said they sent me information through email. On the third day I tried to get access to my new password. The instructions were to send me a text message to my phone. My phone wasn't listed, so I can't get my one time code. How in the HELL is anyone suppose to run a business like this???? To top it off I am the Administrator of my account. If this is the way this is going to continue, I will be moving money to a bank that has their electronic banking figured out!

Took them 8 MONTHS to reply back about a loan!!! Very bad business I will let everyone I know not to bank with them.

I have never ever recommended a bank or banker in my entire life. I have dealt with many of them and will have to say Midwest Heritage a Hy-Vee company is heads above the rest. When they first walked into KMJ I thought this little grocery store can’t be serious. I really was under the impression that they were just a little check cashing novelty bank. Boy was I wrong!!! I started my banking relationship with them shortly before the Pandemic hit. I am quite confident that my prior larger nationally known bank would never have had the time or resources to help but MH Bank was always there. While I am quite positive KMJ is not # 1 they sure make us feel like we are. Thanks MH Bank!!

After experiencing what I consider severe customer service issues at Bank of America, as well as a minor issue @ Veridian, I chose to go to this bank to open an estate account for my deceased grandmother's estate. Was a breath of fresh air not being forced to wear a mask, or not having to deal with ridiculous hour cuts. The lady at the counter was extremely professional.

I have banked with MHB for 10+ years. I got a fraudulent charge on my account of $89. I filled out the paperwork and they removed it. Couple weeks later they charged it back and sent me mail with a copy of front package saying it was shipped to us. We never ordered it or got anything in the mail. It was from China. I left a voicemail with manager Jerry King and a week later no response. I sadly ended up closing my account today.

My debit card went missing 2 months ago. When I first went into a location to order a new one, the gentleman who helped me (James at the Fleur location) forgot to both cancel the old card and order me a new one, so my old card was still active with charges coming on it. After I finally ordered a new one, it took 17 days over the 10 I was told it would take at max. This new card doesn't work fully. The chip works, but the magnetic strip is faulty and won't slide. When I asked that I havd a new card sent to me and expedited since it's been two months since I had a fully functioning card, I was told no by the VP of Retail division, Theresa Allsup, (after she angril hung up on me during our first conversation) because it costs the bank $50 and if I didn't want to pay the $50 to expedite, it would be 10 days again or I could just close my account. Great service.
