Luz in the menswear section was exceptional. She helped fit my brother and father for suits to wear at my mother's funeral. We were still coping with our loss and she guided us so well along the way. I appreciated her compassion and kindness to total strangers. They both looked so good for my mom because of her help, and that was special. Thank you dearly, Luz.

I just had a great experience with Isabel she was super helpful, nice and professional. She did a matching fundation on my face, she answer all my questions about the products and I got to try some products that I will for sure buy.

Jordan Creek Mall - long haired sales clerk in womens intimidates younger more knowledgeable and helpful staff. Tried to get staff to check online Alex Marie pants and long haired clerk wouldn't allow more helpful staff to do their job. I walked away and searched on Dillards site and viola--it was available!! Von Maur is now in this mall. Competition with actual customer service skills are coming for you Dillards!! Dillards will soon be the Younkers replacement--out of business!!

This place has got some pretty cool stuff. I was instantly drawn to the shoe department, then to bags. The selection and arrangements are awesome and the jewelry display in the entrance made me smile. I would definitely come back and shop here for my clothing and accessories needs.

Snobby staff that look down their noses at you as if they're royalty instead of working retail in a midwestern mall. Overpriced stuff, even that which isn't designer branded. Crowded sales floor is hard to navigate. Not a welcoming store. If you don't walk in wearing diamonds and furs like Elizabeth Taylor they will assume you have no money and ignore you. As Julia Roberts said in Pretty Woman, "Big mistake."

Best place to buy beautiful clothes in Des Moines. I got burned on buying clothes online from Poshmark and here at Dillard's I can actually try on the clothes before I buy. I tried Torrid but can't try on the clothes there.

I'm a huge fan of Dillard's usually, at least I was when I lived in Prescott AZ. We went on Sunday, August 23, 2020. In the Junior's Dept there were plenty of customers but an employee who was just standing behind the counter. I worked for Nordstrom for 11 years. That situation would have gotten me fired. I ended up taking my teen to the women's Dept. She is a size double zero and Miranda helped us find Free People jeans that fit her. There were only two in her size but we also found a Free People jacket. Had there been more in tiny sizes I would have spent more. In the men's department an Eastern Indian man helped my son find some cargo pants but then he disappeared and the other man was more interested in putting his fitting room go backs back then assisting us. So one shirt and one pant. In hand bags a gal approached us when she saw my daughter and I were both carry Coach bags. I really want a new Dooney and Bourke bag and my daughter wanted a Louis Vuitton smiling cherry bag but the gal never approached us again so Dillard's really lost out on a big sale. We didn't even stop at the Clinique counter. Teach your sales people how to recognize people who are there to shop and how to build a sale.

This was a good store until I got told to put my mask on and then watched three other women continue to shop throughout the store without being told to put one on. Would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Please know that this is not directed to the local store, but about Dillards as a whole. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement! I ordered a prom dress for my daughter. Returned it by mail because the stores are all closed due to the Covid pandemic - towards the end of my 30 days to return. However, it didn't make back it within the 30 days so they shoved the $200 dress back in a box and shipped it back me with a form letter. Customer service was absolutely no help when I called. Simply repeating the 30 day return policy over and over and over. Never again Dillards ! #horribleservice #dillards #badservice

Dillard’s should be following suite with the other responsible retailers and closing stores during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not having 40% sales to lure people in to the store to get sick and to infect your employees. What I have read about your company and how you are choosing to treat your employees is deplorable. Don’t any of your CEO’s watch the news. People are supposed to be staying at home. NOTHING IN YOUR STORE IS ESSENTIAL!!!!!! Close for the next 2 weeks and do your part to save lives!!!! I know where I will not be spending my money after this is over...and it seems like a lot of other customers feel the same!!!

We went to look for a very specific pair of shoes. I found them, but they were horribly understaffed. Then we hunted down an associate to help my daughter try on a pair of snake skin thigh high heels boots. The associate laughed at her and said, "you're kidding, right?" No. We weren't kidding. She made a ordeal about it, shaming her into leaving without them. I said, "is it common practice to laugh at customers who have different tastes than you?" She said, "I'd just break my back." Not up to you, Shelly. She was a complete liability to what Dillard's usually portrays.

Well, the only department store in Jordan Creek now. I want boots and a handbag. They had several boots that were what I was looking for, however, I don't want to mortgage my house to purchase them. I did find one pair reasonably priced that was exactly what I wanted, except that they were fire engine red. Not exactly going to fit well into my wardrobe. If they were $10 I would have snatched them up, but since the color was all wrong, I left them there and wandered to the purse section. Should have just walked out the door. I found a lovely purse, with a lovely $315 price tag. I would lose that sucker....I would leave it at a restaurant the first day I had it. I can justify red boots before a $315 handbag. Just walk out the door. The store carries lots of stuff. I didn't realize they had a house wares area. I saw bedding. Not sure what else was back there, because I just kept walking. There is plenty of stuff there that I like, but Dillards and I are just not spirit animals.
