Worked with deck specialist, spent over 10k, had a home delivery for the materials, now the contractor is here and they can't finish the job. Over the Father's Day weekend, I spent over 6 hours, 4 separate drives to Lowes, and repeated my story over 5 times to different staff. I was promised to be called first thing Monday. I had to call them. Still no resolution. I wouldn't even buy a bag of screws from Lowes.
Update: It's been 6 days and no contact from Lowes. None of the staff, the distribution center, nor the 3rd party that delivered a part of the goods. Lowes has my number, they know how to contact me to make things right. Will they?

Rude employees, two different people sent me to the wrong aisle twice and the third person I asked to help at checkout was annoyed I asked her to help.

My husband and I stopped in to return 2 carpet samples and were rudely treated by "Carrie" who was at the Customer Service counter. Some people should not be in customer service and she is definitely one of those people. Not only was she disrespectful to us but was also to others that were needing help in returns.
After her attitude, I asked to speak with her manager. All he could do was apologize for her behavior. Must be an ongoing allowed behavior from her as he acted like this wasn't the first time someone had complained about her. I also contacted Lowe's Corp. office and placed a corporate complaint.
I would give 0 stars if it allowed.

Ordered 2 appliances from here, separate transactions months apart. Both times the initial delivery was canceled because "the delivery truck broke down." Regardless if the truck actually broke down both times or not as a consumer it doesn't matter to me, it's a problem that the business needs to address or be held accountable for the consequences.
Will be placing delivery orders from other locations or competitors moving forward.

Employees do not seem to want anything to do with customers. First trip I walked in and asked where bathroom faucets were at, "somewhere over there" the employee pointed vaguely without even looking at me. Second trip I needed to return the faucet because it had been returned by someone else and was missing parts. Not a good look for the "Pros". Of course, when returning the faucet I had to stand and wait for employees to finish their conversation and then one turned to me and went "Yeah?"
How about a "how can I help you" after immediately ending your conversation when I walk up? How about checking products for obvious missing parts so I don't have to make two trips? What about knowing where things are in your store, or at the very least offering to look for it?

Today I came in for a return on my corporate account.And I had my corporate order form on sixteen water supply lines. We have over two hundred and twenty one properties nationwide and we utilize a corporate account. Tonight I had to experience the rudest clerk in my entire life and her name is Carrie. She has been miserable before but I chalk it up to short staff. She crossed the line today speaking poorly of her peers Lucy and Brandon who have been with the store since day 1.

CARRIE JUST SCREWED THE PROFIT SHARING OF YOUR PEERS OVER. IM INFORMING OUR CORPORATE VP TO YANK THEIR BUSINESS AND TAKE IT TO HD!
YOU NEED TO NOT FIRE HER RWDUCE HER HOURS , SEND HER TO GARDEN CENTER IN SUB BELOW TEMPS!

We went to Lowe's to get the best deal on an appliance!! Kara made sure we did!!! She greeted us with a friendly smile!! She is very knowledgeable! The one we wanted wasn't in stock. We decided we would take the store model. Kara took a lot of care in preparing the appliance for us to get it home safely without breaking anything! When she called for help, all available employees came to help! We were greeted again by many employees!! Jonah and another member were there to assist with the heavy lifting! Christina came in at the end for a friendly conversation while we secured our new appliance!!! We will definitely be back to Lowe's in West Des Moines!!! Everyone is so helpful and responsive!! Truly a great experience! Thank you Kara, Jonah, Christina and many more members of the Lowe's family!

If you're considering patronizing "Lowe's Home Improvement," but are hesitant because of the negative review left by Nick Jones, I encourage you to disregard his review.
Mr. Jones left a negative review for our company, Superior Siding and Windows, claiming that we were doing work, or had done work, for his family, and that he is dissatisfied. First of all, we've never heard of Nick Jones, nor done work for anyone such as he mentioned in his review. Secondly, he does not live in our service area.
We responded to his review and encouraged him to contact us and to remove his review. We've reported it to Google for removal, all to no avail. He refuses to contact us to discuss this matter nor to remove his review.
Most people do not realize this, but Google Reviews are taken seriously by consumers. If enough erroneous reviews accumulate, it has a negative impact on businesses.
If Mr. Jones doesn't know how to leave a proper review for THE CORRECT BUSINESS, he should not leave any kind of review. EVER.
If there was a way to leave a review on people that rates their cognitive awareness, I'd give Mr. Jones the review he deserves in this category: 1 Star.

We had a slight emergency my dog went through the screen door at the air BNB we were at. After finding help Matt was amazing showed us how to re screen the door to save us a bunch of money. You have a gem of an employee there!
