La Michoacana Grocery & Catering in West Des Moines is a fantastic little tienda and a valuable gem. It is a wonderful store with a wide selection of everything needed for authentic Mexican recipes, including groceries, meats, fresh produce, spices, snacks, and drinks. The catering service provides hot, fresh, and delicious food, with raved-about taco meat, tamales, BBQ meats, authentic barbacoa, birria, rice, beans, guacamole, tortillas, and salsas. The service is always very friendly, super quick, pleasant, accommodating, and responsive. The owner is always there cooking and is happy to give a hand with advice. It is an absolute must-visit where you won't be disappointed.
This Mexican grocery store has about everything I need. The people in the store a willing to assist you find things that you want. They are so kind and helpful. I like to get my peppers 🌶️ out of here.
