I had just finished work and stopped by Kum and Go to buy some chips and a drink. However, the cashier seemed too engrossed in his phone and didn't pay attention to me. I greeted him and tried to initiate a conversation, but he ignored me and didn't even acknowledge my presence. It was disappointing and made me feel like I wasn't valued as a customer. I believe Kum and Go should strive to provide better customer service, especially at their West Des Moines locations. I hope the management takes note of this incident and takes steps to ensure that their employees are more attentive and courteous to their customers. DO BETTER! What a shame!

Kum & Go 50th & EP True. I told the young man working there on the morning of 11/23 that the creamer was out. He had it refilled before I had finished making my coffee!! Awesome service thank you.

I’ve been coming here for a while. I’m not from here so my ID has a different state on it. I decide to order through the app since I have it, when I walk-in to get what I ordered they asked for my ID, which I gave them. For some reason they asked for my address (which I thought was weird) but I give them my home address that’s on the app anyway just for them to turn around and refuse the sale. Apparently they wanted me to recite the address on my ID… so since I didn’t get their silly guessing game right on the first try I couldn’t get what I paid for. I just find it bogus that they make this a thing out of nowhere when I usually walk in there and have no problems. Never stepping foot in this location again

Disorganized. Expensive. Very rarely are the shelves stocked properly or food in warmers any more. Plus, they now want you to self checkout !!??!! I get the fact that prices will be higher, you pay for convenience. But I shouldn't have to pay high prices and then self checkout. They even took out cash registers to make room for the self check registers. BAD MOVE Kum & Go. I'll drive a little farther down the road and go to Casey's from now on.

I use the Kum & Go app to get gas outside, so I don't have to enter the gas station with all its unhealthy temptations- junk food, booze, cigarettes. However, I'll share a little secret. If you're like me and find yourself running errands in West Des Moines fighting traffic for hours and need a restroom at times, 50th Street Kum & Go has the cleanest bathrooms if you absolutely must use a public restroom. They always have soap and paper towels to wash up, always have toilet paper, no gas station bathroom stink to contend with, friendly staff that don't mind if you use the bathroom and don't buy anything inside. I've found that Kum & Go staffers are always more than accommodating and friendly.

The blonde woman cashier there at 645am is extremely rude. Not a fun way to start the day- I'd avoid going to her register or speaking with her at all if you don't want to start your day off with negativity.

Clean store. Came in and tried their food menu. Chose the hummus bowl. Tasted fresh. Would recommend the kitchen food.

Katie, the next time a customer tells you they don't want to use your new customer convenience check out machine because they don't work there, RESPECT THAT!! I ddo not appreciate being forced to use a machine I am completely against. They might be convenient for some but those things steal jobs from human beings that need them. Stop forcing people to do things they tell.you SECERAL times they don't want to do. You may have lost a customer.

The staff are friendly and the iced tea is fresh. The bathrooms are clean and the everyone wears masks and gloves when they prepare food. There is ample parking and the gas prices are competitive.
